- This docmentary deep dives into the stories of antisemitism across Canadian Universities. The purpose of this documentary was hear first-hand stories about the atmosphere on campus, and importantly share time with them to capture the experience for Jewish and Zionist students in Canada.
Students Supporting Israel’s first chapter in Canada was established in 2014 at Ryerson University, now known as Toronto Metropolitan University. Being an international, student-led movement committed to grassroots advocacy, over the years we expanded to other locations across Canada, including McGill University, York University, University of Manitoba, and the University of Calgary. The antisemitism that Canadian students are experiencing is intense and prevalent every day, but the students are incredibly strong.

If you support self-determination for Palestinians, but not for Jews, there's a term for that.
Did you even listen to anything these people said? This isn’t about Palestinians having a state or not having a state; it’s about a movement that wants Israel to no longer exist, and thus support and justify all violent attacks against it, like Oct. 7th. None of these students said anything about not wanting Palestinian Arabs to have “self determination”. Israel has actually approved every proposal for a Palestinian state ever made in mediated peace talks, eg the one made at Camp David in 2000. The Palestinians are the ones that keep refusing them. This is the problem; too many of them don’t want “self determination” unless it includes ending the Jewish state.

Thank god you have that home! I’m worried for Canada, hatred towards Jews is on the rise and its being allowed… this is a sign of terrible things to come. People like myself are fighting the rhetoric and antisemitism but we are being shouted down and drowned out. Right now we are able to make sure the community is protected under the law, but i fear the mob. I am not Jewish, nor am I a student. (Although as a nurse, education is never complete and always learning) This is an important movement as so much misinformation and outright propaganda is actively being pushed. I am so very sorry that you are experiencing this kind of hate, and aggressive oppression here in Canada. It is absolutely abhorrent that so many believe October 7th was justified, and is to be celebrated. That Hamas are freedom fighters, and not a terrorist group.
I read an article shortly after October 7th on the MEMRI(Middle East Media Research Institute) online site . An Iman of Hezbollah stated something along the lines of: October 7th was just a small live fire exercise in a much bigger operation that will not only see to the elimination of Jews from the middle East entirely, but also worldwide. I believe they have been insidiously working on the youth of universities for quite some time. I believe the Iman was disclosing the truth. I believe they will fail, but please be safe one and all.🙏 The rhetoric and mindless mob mentality chanting occurring sounds very much like Germany of the 1930's.😢

All I can say is thankfully there are no longer here to see how some Canadians have reciprocated their sacrifice. This is completely heartbreaking and unnacceptable. I wish I were there in person to openly support the Jewish students, physically if necessary. Canada is not the dreamland one reads about in the tourist pamphlets. I remember the day after the Boston Marathon bombing there was a large Islam propaganda stall outside the library in London, Ontario. They had signs like 'Islam respects women' and 'Islam respects other religions and races'. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and t was a complete joke for anyone who knew anything about the precepts of Islam and had first-hand experience of people who follow it to the letter. It was also such a dishonour to the victims of the Jihadi attacks worldwide. Let's not forget that Canada refused to grant safe haven to a ship filled with Jews fleeing the Nazi genocide in 1939.
and in the end all the interviews in this video are only hypothetical and based on feelings, in reality 3 Palestinian students have become victims, one of them was paralyzed, and 30 students who protested were injured because they were attacked by an Israeli support group

The majority of people opposing Israel are doing just that: opposing Israel and its destruction of an entire people. We are not (most of us) opposing Jewish beliefs; it’s not an issue. It is the government and its policy. Stop trying to paint this as a religion thing. It isn’t.
“Destruction of an entire people”…what people are those? The population of Palestinian Arabs has grown by almost 500% since 1948. In Gaza it almost doubled just over the last 20 years. Their birth rate is 3-4 children per woman. 180 babies are born there on average every day. Their population has literally grown since the start of this war. So just stop with these disgusting “genocide” blood libels against the Jewish state; nobody with an ounce of intelligence believes them.
