Always very informative, Kevin, when it comes to plant care. So nice to see some greenery at this time of year when we are in the doldrums. Cheers!

Glad you’re feeling better Kevin. The times I travelled abroad I wasn’t yet a plant person. It’ll be different now though. Thanks for sharing Kevin!

    So glad you're feeling better!
I fell in love with Aeonium in San Diego.
Say, what do you use on your poles? Do you keep away from moss for a particular reason?
I watch anime when I'm sick. Or quirky shows. Thoughtful entertainment.
Congratulations on getting done what you need to do! 💚

I’d love to visit Costa Rica to see the tropical foliage! San Diego has succulents the size of pine trees in their front yards and here in the mountains the largest I’ve ever grown can fit into a 4” terracotta pot lol..

I was born and raised in SD! Haha. I wish we could put images in the YT comments like on FB. I’d take a pic of my grandparents’ split-leaf Philodendron (Thaumatophyllum) 'Selloum' in the front yard. It’s at least ten years older than I am (38), i remember playing hide & seek inside of its branches as a kid. It’s the size of a playground. Ten feet tall in a space around 15-20' wide! I love it here but we just had so much rain and I’m still finding pots that didn’t drain… really irritating. And i cannot STAND temps below 72° F

As a San Diegan, we just have to go outside to find plenty of naturalized, exotic plants! So I guess for me, and apparently this is strange, but I’ve been pretty interested in seeing what’s up w Florida’s plants, exotic & native. Plus I’m interested in reptiles, amphibians, aquascaping, & animals in general, and FL is known to have tons of non-native species to find! But i think really, anywhere in South America, particularly Colombia. Did you know it’s the 2nd most biodiverse country on earth, after Brazil?? And the #1 bird country in the world, too. Thousands of animal & plant species. Aroids everywhere!
Además- hay algunos canales de UA-cam increíbles de jardineros colombianos, si hablas español. 😊 Graban recorridos por las casas, los jardines y todos son bellas!
