I wish more people understood the full extent of what would be lost if this scheme goes ahead. I have only had the pleasure of visiting Stonehenge twice, but would love to return and explore more of the area. It is such a precious and unique landscape, a jewel in Britain's crown, and a site known and appreciated all over the world. Knowledge of one's prehistory should not be sacrificed for the sake of pig-headed politics (sorry to insult the pigs).
