Armed with only one word-Tenet-and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.
Not time travel. Inversion.
The international cast of “Tenet” also includes Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Martin Donovan, Fiona Dourif, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Himesh Patel, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh.
Nolan wrote and directed the film, utilizing a mixture of IMAX® and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen. “Tenet” is produced by Emma Thomas and Nolan. Thomas Hayslip served as executive producer.
Nolan’s behind-the-scenes creative team included director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson, and special effects supervisor Scott Fisher. The score is composed by Ludwig Göransson.
“Tenet” was filmed on location across seven countries.

Nolan doesn’t make the trailers and he isn’t in charge of them. Warner Bros makes the decisions on what to show and how much. They hire post production studios and advertising agencies to make their trailers.

We are so used to movies that don't require 100% attention at every second, this movie is an underappreciated masterpiece. There is not one wasted frame in the entire runtime. The meticulous attention to continuity is insane. Particularly the temporal pincer movement at the end; the first time I saw it I thought it was chaotic and hashed together. After seeing the movie four times, I realized every shot and every action is relevant and fits the continuity. It's now my favourite movie of all time!
You can watch all the spoilers that you want and it would still make no difference.

Not really the plot is still quiet confusing, this trailer shows a lot of footage we haven't seen such as the soldiers at the end, its a 2 and a half hour film, there's plenty he hasn't shown.

Finally watched it. So epic. Not as hard to understand as many I know have said. Nolan outdid himself with this one.

I already saw the film. I will say it is one of the best. My rating 86/100.
Watching it was like eating all my favourite meals at once . Delicious but hard to digest it all at once .
It's about the rhythm of invert actions which are taking place at the stand, with the time loop been indicating the response to the future actions with the character taking the stand in the present.....to lift off the stage. The reaction is been actively counterattacked by the action in the real time. Now how the war gets its end through the reaction and action is the surreal edge of TENET! (the title too follows inversion, look carefully)

Just watched it on apple tv. Grat movie. Since I have it rented for 48 hours I have still time to watch it several times and fully understand. Maybe I will be able to reverse time after that to the moment before I clicked rent so I will save some money and yet I will be fully satisfied from watching this epic movie😜
