    The explanation is great. I'm following this channel for a long time now and the way the sql concepts are delivered is just awesome.
    But I've one request, could you address one more question as for this video. What's the difference between where exist and where not exist to intersect and minus set operations??

    No, the SQL UNION operator does not sort data by default. used order by to sort the data

    Do we still get duplicates of we use distinct key word in the select and use union all?
    Also, how does it impact the performance?

    what if to match the no. of columns, instead of one column name null will be placed ?

  • @anujrana15893
    @anujrana15893 4 роки тому

    When u say sorted by default. Which column will be used to sort the result set?

    • @SivaAcademy
      @SivaAcademy  4 роки тому

      default ordering means, it sorts based on first, within first based on second column and so on

  • @Divine_Power-bo6fz
    @Divine_Power-bo6fz 4 роки тому

    Is order of columns is also need to be same in both select statement....??

    • @SivaAcademy

      Order not necessarily to be same, but data type should match across the queries

    What is the difference between union and intersect?

    • @SivaAcademy
      @SivaAcademy  5 років тому +1

      @Sai Ram,
      UNION --> combine the data of two result set and display in sorted order after removing duplicate rows
      INTERSECT --> Display the common rows between result sets after removing the duplicates, and display in sorted order
