thanks man. helps out a lot! I'm about to purchase a moped (hopefully the day after I posted this comment) and I was looking to replace the exhaust in the near future after getting it. this helps a lot.
Really nice vid, helped a lot. My gasket went bust at 28k km. Now I know how to replace it, thanks! And just one stupid question: why to unplug battery for this?
Hi, perhaps it's just me - but I don't see a gasket installed at all. Is that not required on this one? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I'm a novice in this area but the happy owner of a GTS 300s :) Thanks for a great video - it gave me enough courage to try some 'do it yourself work'!
I've the same exhaust..recently it's starting popping, like a small backfire when shutting off revs...apart from that it's OK...any ideas? ..also it can tickover higher then lower again occasionally...thank you.
First of all I love your videos you've been a lifesaver for me considering I just got my first Vespa I really like your videos because you don't say anything which is awesome because I can't stand a bunch of useless chatter just get to it and that's what you do ...thank you Bru♡
Hi, I just got a used Vespa with this exhaust and it’s very loud. I think I need a new muffler gasket. What gasket size and type is used for this exact exhaust?
I am in the process of potentially buyin a 2006 250 with this pipe on it. Seems to have a pop when you let off the gas, is this normal? Also did the installation of this pipe require a tune of any type?
@vidman008 some people think 10,000 is a lot!! I think it's nothing.. I ride up to 12k to 15k miles a year.. I don't have a car, I only have scooters. I will make a video to show you how it works :) remind me tomorrow!
Nice video (as always). I'm thinking of getting the newer Leo Vince Grand Turismo as my current exhaust is past repair. Do these exhausts affect the power? do they obstruct the oil filler hole? How do they cope with the higher hear output from the newer engines? How do you find the exhaust (pro's and con's)? I have a 2008 GTS 250.
Awesome. Could You tell us what is the broken piece you show at the end. This piece could be the graphite piece and it must be with a noisy exhaust if that piece is broke. My Vespa makes too much noisy. Thx. Nice job
ya! and they should not tell other what to ride... let them chose what they like! I ride scooters for 13 years and never thought about getting a motorcycle
being on a budget.. priced a few exhaust pipes and LV starts out in the mid 300 dollar range and if car mufflers cost this much they'd go out of business, don't know why in the world scooter prices are so high when it is economy we're after to start with. Color me dumb founded.
Scooters are awesome! My bws kicks the crap out of 1000cc bikes through the city and dense traffic. Superbike guys ride like girls. Your very good on a track but for daily errands, comfort, economy they suck! Harleys and choppers like to have a laugh also. But i have the last laugh when their big asses are stuck behind cars and I'm on pole position! :) haha

That's a good thing because the Vespa gaskets are very soft and often get broken when every my scoot come back from the shop, the new gasket cost $45.
Best how too's on UA-cam!
@KujawaTennis Hey, thanks! do that on "edit annotations"

the pipe moves with the engine which is separate from the shocks and body.

People who don't like scooters but likes motorbikes are people who have ego disease
