Good morning, Darwin and Melanie! I have enjoyed following you both for several years - first from my home in Australia and now from my apartment in Buffalo Grove. What always inspires me is the problem solving approach that you take to a project. You have a vision and a goal and you make use of every day materials to design and build towards that vision - be it the air crete shed for your in-laws, the rocket mass heater for Julie from DirtPatch Heaven, to your container work-shop and HDC University. Don't lose track of your medium and long-term goals! Keep on re-evaluating those goals and re-assessing your priorities and plans towards achieving those goals - often times it's so easy to become distracted momentarily on the path to those long term goals so you need to keep re-assessing them and re-focusing your attention towards obtaining them.
I couldn't see how you attached the vertical panels together so they wouldn't fall down. Did you leave the metal frame on the panels? I loved the finished product.
GREAT WORK It is enjoyable to see the involvement of the whole family! I think I missed the construction of the 'paving stones'. It must be there, somewhere. Thanks for your vision & work!!!
Great idea using the metal studs: What about laying out the whole wall on a slab, add the mesh and pour the whole wall at once, after drying stand it up?
Hey! It's 9 months later -- where are you?? I have convinced half of my friends to watch all the aircrete videos they can and they are all interested! I have imagined several building methods and can't wait to experiment this summer. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and I love your rocket stove too! Can't wait to see what you have to offer next😁
Awesome shed!🎉 👍🏻. That really is amazing, I'm thinking about building a house out of this aircrete, I heard the r value or the insulation value is really good. Does the shed feel well? Insulated?
I remember when you were starting on the shed build I followed you from Dirtpatcheaven. Still I think it's an awesome build. Wish you lived in Cali. So I could have you come build me a rocket stove with oven and a warm bench like you put up in their little cabin. I want one so badly. Much love from So.Cal💟
Hi Darwin! Been rewatching videos as we are getting ready to start our projects. Can't seem to find the formula for your newest crete mix. Could you post that somewhere? Would greatly appreciate it.
At 4:11 you have a lift shown, do you have any details on it? Did you make? Buy it? Rent it? LOL, kept watching and at 4:31 saw a better view. Looks DIY. Will search your other videos for more info on it.
@Honey Do Carpenter Hi, I've recently found your channel and am fascinated by aircrete. What was that crane thing you were using? It would help me to have something like that.
Is it possible to make a water proof box to use as a water storage tank or a septic tank? I am planning already to use air crete for insulation. Thanks
Any suggestions for a fragrance free shampoo or soap that would work just as well? We have severe fragrance allergies so the Suave y'all like won't work for us.
Thermal bridging is the term. In this system, there are two layers (one from each neighboring panel) at the seam of each panel. At these seams, metal transects the wall and can conduct heat. We tend to be okay with an inch and a half thick stud transecting a wall, so would two 14 gauge layers of metal be any worse than that? Much less metal than wood, but wood is much less conductive. I would guess it’s a wash and the most important thing is the quality of the seam between panels; how tightly do they meet and how tightly are they sealed?
I would have thought that you would make the roof out of the same material. Awesome video.
Good morning Honeydew’s family!

glad to see your posting
That’s awesome!! I’m a fan on air Crete now!
Great job on shed

Thanks for your vision & work!!!
Very clever and nice work. It is also earthquake resistant.
GREAT summery of the project!!!
Молодец 💪💪💪💪отличная идея ,

Great video review of the shed build.
A video I clicked right away.

Loved the crane

Need to do an uodatse on how it turned out and holding up man, thats awesome. How light are the slabs?
Do you have a close up of your lifting platform - looks like something I could really use
I would like to see that too...
Hello Honey Do!! Awesome job. What is that machine you used to join the metal frames instead of screws?

How much do those panels weigh?
Are these aluminum profiles? Can we use aluminum ones?
can you drill into it, or does it just crumble?
Where did you get that hoist to build the roof?! I need that!
Is it possible to make a water proof box to use as a water storage tank or a septic tank? I am planning already to use air crete for insulation. Thanks
What kind of reinforcement would be required if you simply formed each wall panel in one unit and built it as a tilt up?
Hello, a question, do you use any type of soap to produce the foam or do you use industrial soap? Greetings
Have you ever added fiberglass to add strength?
Was looking to buy a concrete water fountain but could I make a lighter one via your process?
Any suggestions for a fragrance free shampoo or soap that would work just as well? We have severe fragrance allergies so the Suave y'all like won't work for us.
How much money did you spend on the materials?
How many bags does it take to do a foundation that size seems like a lot of work
Hey bro ...will you make a tutorial of you crane ? Please
Just wondering what was your total cost for this build
Bravo 👏👏👏👍🌹👋 Thank You 👏👏👏👍👋🇹🇷
Sir please let me know....
1. How big pannel I can make.thichness and cement ratio.??
2. Can I use expanding .?
3. Can I pump this Crete in PVC hose?
Doesn't using metal framing take away some of the insulating qualities of aircrete?

MISS YOU GUYS! HOPE EVERYTHING'S OKAY!
I was hoping it was a new one.
Hi
You guys get moved yet? Wondering when you might startup again.
Very sad to only see lives and old contents.😢
😄
Красавчик👍🦾💪🔥
so you show same stuff over and over again in your videos ?
