I really like using a Crisbee stick, normally meant for cast iron. Beeswax and soybean oil.
Winn grips are the way to go!!
When it comes the looks i love cork but i found out that cork easily damage. Hoping that fishing rod company makes a cork-like eva foam grips or cork rubber design. I think this is better than pure cork material.

It seems that this would negatively impact the grip if tge rod handle. Is the resulting handke more slippery?
It doesn’t it soaks in and dries
Why don't the factories seal the cork when they manufacture the rods?

I could use one of these for Table Tennis Jpen blades.
I work at a wood shop and I had some leftover polyurethane that I use on doors some top shelf stuff worked pretty good on my fishing rods

You should encase the cork with carbon graphite so you don't ever touch the cork.
It's now $12, sure as heck not $3 or $4. Heat Shrink warp is the latest
