Ultimate hunting has the potential to blow up within the hunting genre, with some of the things we've already seen it looks like we're going to be getting a super fun, interactive and adaptive game that will encapsulate and recreate the real world hunting experience. the first thing is fixing the gameplay at 6.42 animals should be on edge not relaxing at a water hole where is the crocodile? And with game mode look at The Long dark we need that in this game! So we can customize it to how we want the simulation to play.
its legal to hunt African brush elephants in some countries (namely Zimbabwe and South Africa, the entire big 5 is legal in those countries) so I say fuck it why not its a game and i want to hunt something ill likely never even see in real life, as for juveniles that's a good layer of added realism to the game.
I’ve seen some developmental footage of animal behaviour and it looks realistic in terms of movement and impact, I haven’t seen anything regarding interaction with the world though

I think that there’s a lot of expectations that the game will definitely try to meet, there will of course be some teething problems as any new game has but I think even based on the amount of features alone the game will be well received
I hope this game is going to be as good as it looks. And it would be pritty cool if they added the whole survival aspect to it, like eating, drinking, and that the player have to sleep to get more energi and stuff
As a hunter I have bin waiting for a game like this to come out and I love how you only can shoot adults and you can change your caliber of gun and they we get a jeep

Yeah it’s a shame for the late release date but I’d rather they take their time for it than rush it and it look less finished. I’m sure it will be amazing
They can release this 2024 if they need to. Take it easy and develop the game as it should be developed. So the release only have minor bugs and a good realistic animal AI.
it seems like theyre doing what a lot of COTW players wish COTW would do. however, the reason i play COTW is for the "competitive" aspect. i like my trophy lodge being able to showcase diamonds and rare fur types as a representation of how much time ive dedicated. ultimate hunting doesnt seem to have that "competitive" aspect found in COTW. i personally dont find hunting the same animals over and over again fun, and that seems like everything ultimate hunting is. sure you could still find big trophies of given species, but COTW's rating system, player base, and rare furs are what make it fun to me
I’m not sure if that will be the case buddy, ultimate hunting will absolutely have a similar trophy approach to call of the wild and it will have lodges too, but ultimate hunting boasts 17 species per reserve instead of the 7-9 we have with call of the wild. Also they will have their RAG system which means no two racks will be the same so there’s almost infinite possibilities for rack shapes and sizes. They will also have rare furs in the game and they may even be more of a statement of time dedicated than rng which would allow a more inclusive competition atmosphere too
As for the player base, the game is still in concept stage, not even alpha or pre alpha so it is understandable that there’s no player base there yet. Ultimately only with time and as the game is developed further will we get a clearer image of what we can expect from the game
For sure, i mean even if they are only capable of releasing the game with 60% of their features advertised there will be a strong foundation for them to then go ahead and build the game from
How's this a "first look"? Zaggi made videos like this 6 months ago with the same info. It comes out this year and there's 0 gameplay footage? I'm extremely skeptical, coming from someone who has been disappointed in theHunter for a while now
It's a first look for the same reason every cotw content creator made a "first look" video for the modern rifles pack... it's their first look. Would be useless to have multiple content creators for any game if once one of them covered it all of the others went "well damn they already covered that so i guess i can't" :D It comes out for Early access in a year, which means the game will be an early release version and there will probably be 6 months of development after that before it's available for mass purchase. Being Dissappointed in COTW is one thing, but that shouldn't mean you count out Ultimate hunting, two game developers, two budgets, two focuses, two different ideals of what they want the game to look like...

I want to take down a huge bear 🐻 double size than others or shoot a fastest lion or a jumping rabbit🐇 or take down from sky a big goose 🦆 ..... I think the big challenge will be how interaction will work between player and environment. How easily we will be able to be detected by animals or how customs will support or invisibility or adds for a better camouflage, and how ATV and Jeep will work and affect the environment during travels... How we could hunt on the nights? It will come dlc to buy as permanent? It will come with seasons pass? ... Its a big challenge when you have a real competitor as COWT...
It must be difficult to buy weapons and supplies in the game. Of course not as much as the hunter classic. After a place like Cotw we don't know where to spend the money and it's starting to get boring. For example, when we pull the apple of a white-tailed deer, we are done with it and we do not want to hunt again. . We continue to hunt whitetails in .hunter classic because there is no limit to both money, mission and score. The most exciting part is not knowing where and what to get..

Regardless if this game does great or not Ill still play COTW alongside it as a Hunting Game fan. I do like the customizable Lodges even tho the way COTW does it doesnt bother me at all but thats a really good concept. The 2 different modes is a great idea. Id rather jam to music and go around and slay stuff. But Im more waiting to see what the purpose of playing is. Like with COTW, you have Rares & Diamonds that your work for and the Grind makes it all worth it. I definately dont want this to be exactly like COTW cause that would be pointless to make a game with the same exact features as a whole. Just waiting to make a real judgement til everything is set & a real trailer comes out. Just praying this game doesnt flop like Hunting Sim 2 did
I have low expectations for this and expect it to be a Day of Dragons sort of deal. All we have seen so far is posed UE4/5 engine assets with not a single genuine gameplay video or trailer.
Again, as I’ve said to some already. I’d say hold off on judgment yet, they aren’t about to release their game, not even close! That’s still a year out minimum and even then it’s only their early access they are releasing. We’ve not seen gameplay trailers yet because they are migrating the game from UE 4 to UE 5 but instead of transfer and upscaling assets like most games have done they are recreating them from the ground up using UE 5 to make sure it’s the best it can be. Genuine gameplay trailers will start to flow around fall this year, with the early access dropping very late 2022

Lol it still looks very very early Alpha and they want to release soon next year? Lol how long did it take to create cotw? 5 years idk.. @@Royaliize i'd say that's really harsh, Ultimate games are not a new company they have over 40 titles on steam, varying from arcade games, to simulators and even VR games. This is just their first attempt at a hunting game, they are so dedicated towards making it the best game they can they've even set up a sister company (3tgames) that has a team solely for the development of Ultimate hunting but operates under the Ultimate Games umbrella.

IT IS! but they are proud of the game they are creating which is why they are showing the development of the game each and every step of the way, so that people can see exactly what is going on. They're building the game from the ground up, every asset, new, hiring new people to focus on animal design, animations, environment details, sound engineers... i am in a fortunate position where i speak with Rafael (CEO of 3t games) frequently to discuss what's going on. Also, I know that i am a new content creator. I know that there's not a lot of backlogged content on my channel but if i had any suspicion about what was going on, if i ever got an answer i didn't like or if i ever felt like this was some side cash grab. There's no way i'd publically advocate for it. The reality is i have seen the development, i have seen the asset design, i've seen the ideas list and the project plan... I can see that they have full intentions to take this all the way, But the game isn't coming out any time soon. They are going to get the Website done when there's more to show, they will release the trailer when it won't pain the game in a less than expectation light and they can't show us a finished product because they don't have one, but that doesn't mean you have to shut it down. Especially call it a scam before there has been any request for funds, before there has been any kind of investement asked of you, that's just unfair.
Uh.. in normal hunting juvinile are usual the first you go for. Especially with boar. If you shoot the mother, the young will not survive... I wonder how this turns out. actually its strictly forbidden to shoot mothers. --> this are the standards here in Germany and might vary to other countries.

The initial release is set for late 2022 but just like call of the wild it will initially be released as an early access game. Call of the wild has 5 years on ultimate hunting so we can’t compare them like for like. If ultimate hunting comes out the box anywhere close to cotw is 5 years later it will be insane
@@AndyWillsTV But that means it is only available to people like you who would be reviewing the game. People like me who don't have access to the early access won't be able to play till next year. Now I do understand how important that early access is, as it allows the game to be reviewed and tested and a chance to improve the game before release. But they can't say a game os to be release at the end of the year if only access to no more than 10 to 15 people. Yes call of the wild do have early access yet when they say something is to be released it release is to the public not just UA-cam reviewers. At 1st when you said limited release, my 1st thought is that this company might be a scam.
I hear you on your points buddy, the reason nobody has given a definite date is because it’s a guideline. The game was in early stages of development before the covid pandemic so the team has tried to keep on track but naturally there may be some delays, it’s also the reason for no gameplay trailer. And as you say it’s definitely important to have the game put through it’s paces before it’s released to a large audience to not only ensure people get a product they are happy with but also so the game isn’t released to a mass of negative reviews. As for the game being a scam, it’s being developed by a sub company to ultimate games who have over 40 games on the steam marketplace at the minute. This is something completely new to them so 3rt games was created so that it can have its own dedicated team to work on it all
@@AndyWillsTV The reason I stated that it could be a scam is because you said was to be a limited release early access on PC before a full release next year, not an executive release on PC. Meaning that if the product is to be release to PC as a limited release than it won't be release with all the content that is advertised. Which could mean that some of the guns, animals, areas and missions may not be available at the initial release. Which is in Europe and Australia violates consumer law. As a product must have all the features, function and content that advertise to have and if the product is missing such advertised content or feature or function of such product than that company has violated consumer law. Now the wording may not be 100% correct. Anyway if the game does release with all it's content I do think it will be a great game, but I don't think it will topple COTW. COTW as been out for so long that it as a dedicated player base that will continue playing the game, in steam the game has no less then 3000 players at a time. The two games look so different that players of one will play the other and not be board of repetition. Also each game will have their own dedicated player base as well.
It could I guess, I’m lucky enough to get an opportunity to talk with the ceo of ultimate hunting every now and then and he’s always showing me things about how they are perfecting different aspects of the game. Because of this I get to see the progress and I do believe that the game will be incredible from what I’ve seen
There is so many species in Africa to choose from, there was always going to be certain species to miss out that people wouldn't be happy with. i have spoken with Rafe about this and he says that down the line they hope to include a 2nd africa map that would include the species that can't make this reserve, impala, rhino, leopard etc.... but there's so much of the world they want to cover and only so many people on the team which they need to balance
Perfect with 2 modes. Love juvinile thing. Finally cotw can be threatened. We will see. I hope so because expansive worlds is just shitting on us players. So many bugs still and shit going on but they must release new maps. Not listening to player base like these guys do. Respect.
I fully understand that, in COTW by the way there is the option to turn off a lot of the in game assists which may give you a more realistic experience, hope it helps!
I was in a call with rafael yesterday, they are waiting for unreal engine 5 to come out for them to produce a higher quality trailer. The game isn’t going to be released for another 9-10 months at least so they don’t want to rush their trailer as they feel it won’t show the game off to the quality it deserves
still nothing on animal behaviors and player influences of it. still no in-game footage... so i have no hype. ill be happy if a better hunting game than cotw comes out. bc thats progress. but as for hype strains, they usually end up as wasted energy
I hate how animals are in hunter COTW "hunt zones not animals" hopefully I can let go of that garbage can of a game and replace it with this hopefully they change that style genre to "hunt animals not zones"
It will be on console, but initial release will be on pc as it’s a lot simpler to release quick fixes and updates for pc as console has to go through approval

My biggest hope is that the animal AI is realistic. I love COTW but it's definitely arcade style animal behavior.

I live in sweden and we shoot juvenile roe deer and wild boar every once in a while. But we often kill the juvenile moose
I suppose different areas have different rules, but for example in Africa o believe juvenile hunting is frowned upon

They need to add horses to ride. A horse can go places vehicles can't.

do u know if there will be dif fur varieties like albino, mela, or piebald?
I beleive that there will be fur varieties, maybe not for all species like cotw, but there will be certain factors that make animals "rare"
I live in south africa so I hope the terain is realistic to give it a "at home" feeling

That makes the hunter call of the wild a better game already.
The initial release is set for late 2022 but just like call of the wild it will initially be released as an early access game. Call of the wild has 5 years on ultimate hunting so we can’t compare them like for like. If ultimate hunting comes out the box anywhere close to cotw is 5 years later it will be insane

People like me who don't have access to the early access won't be able to play till next year.
Now I do understand how important that early access is, as it allows the game to be reviewed and tested and a chance to improve the game before release.
But they can't say a game os to be release at the end of the year if only access to no more than 10 to 15 people.
Yes call of the wild do have early access yet when they say something is to be released it release is to the public not just UA-cam reviewers.
At 1st when you said limited release, my 1st thought is that this company might be a scam.
I hear you on your points buddy, the reason nobody has given a definite date is because it’s a guideline. The game was in early stages of development before the covid pandemic so the team has tried to keep on track but naturally there may be some delays, it’s also the reason for no gameplay trailer. And as you say it’s definitely important to have the game put through it’s paces before it’s released to a large audience to not only ensure people get a product they are happy with but also so the game isn’t released to a mass of negative reviews. As for the game being a scam, it’s being developed by a sub company to ultimate games who have over 40 games on the steam marketplace at the minute. This is something completely new to them so 3rt games was created so that it can have its own dedicated team to work on it all
@@AndyWillsTV The reason I stated that it could be a scam is because you said was to be a limited release early access on PC before a full release next year, not an executive release on PC.
Meaning that if the product is to be release to PC as a limited release than it won't be release with all the content that is advertised.
Which could mean that some of the guns, animals, areas and missions may not be available at the initial release.
Which is in Europe and Australia violates consumer law. As a product must have all the features, function and content that advertise to have and if the product is missing such advertised content or feature or function of such product than that company has violated consumer law.
Now the wording may not be 100% correct.
Anyway if the game does release with all it's content I do think it will be a great game, but I don't think it will topple COTW.
COTW as been out for so long that it as a dedicated player base that will continue playing the game, in steam the game has no less then 3000 players at a time.
The two games look so different that players of one will play the other and not be board of repetition.
Also each game will have their own dedicated player base as well.
I'm just saying, I'm definitely shooting a baby elephant with the biggest gun in the game...

It could I guess, I’m lucky enough to get an opportunity to talk with the ceo of ultimate hunting every now and then and he’s always showing me things about how they are perfecting different aspects of the game. Because of this I get to see the progress and I do believe that the game will be incredible from what I’ve seen

There is so many species in Africa to choose from, there was always going to be certain species to miss out that people wouldn't be happy with. i have spoken with Rafe about this and he says that down the line they hope to include a 2nd africa map that would include the species that can't make this reserve, impala, rhino, leopard etc.... but there's so much of the world they want to cover and only so many people on the team which they need to balance

Perfect with 2 modes. Love juvinile thing. Finally cotw can be threatened. We will see. I hope so because expansive worlds is just shitting on us players. So many bugs still and shit going on but they must release new maps. Not listening to player base like these guys do. Respect.

I fully understand that, in COTW by the way there is the option to turn off a lot of the in game assists which may give you a more realistic experience, hope it helps!

I was in a call with rafael yesterday, they are waiting for unreal engine 5 to come out for them to produce a higher quality trailer. The game isn’t going to be released for another 9-10 months at least so they don’t want to rush their trailer as they feel it won’t show the game off to the quality it deserves

still nothing on animal behaviors and player influences of it. still no in-game footage... so i have no hype. ill be happy if a better hunting game than cotw comes out. bc thats progress. but as for hype strains, they usually end up as wasted energy
I hate how animals are in hunter COTW "hunt zones not animals" hopefully I can let go of that garbage can of a game and replace it with this hopefully they change that style genre to "hunt animals not zones"

It will be on console, but initial release will be on pc as it’s a lot simpler to release quick fixes and updates for pc as console has to go through approval
