Really Really enjoyed this video. Great work as usual. Love the way you show this machines up close and the way you explain how they work and function. Can't wait for the next episode.
I actually am old school. I ran a D10R on a coal pile for one year and it had same steering... did not like it.. prefer the old D9L D8L And D10 with the steer levers to the left and shift right underneath.. i found it much easier and more precise steering ... to each their own... you cant beat CATS in any fashion.. they just run and run and run... love em all
GOOID video. Sure am glad the wrist shift was canned. That is a killer if you have arthur in your hands. Like the single levers a lot better and no throttle lever. Must've gone with the dial as on other Cats. Would be a sweet ride. Looks like it has good leg room. Thanks, Pal! A-PLUS!
Is there any of its counterpart like the Komatsu D575A super dozer in the area.?It become a rare finding of the machine working around mine nowadays..Hope to see u make documentaries about it Justin
The biggest Cat that I ever stood next to was a D-10 up in Uniontown. I doubt if I'll ever get a chance to stand next to a D-11 due to restricted access to mining areas.
I've had the opportunity to run a N-series, R-series, and the newer T-series. I'd gotta say the R series definitely is the best IMO. The weight, balance and power of a N but the cab is designed almost like the T series.p
If you pay attention in the video, I explained that the 11R was introduced with the same engine and horsepower rating as the 11N in 1996. The 11R CD was introduced 6 months later and featured the improved 3508B with 850hp. The standard D11R didn't receive this engine and power increase until 1997.
The blade is twice the size of my house (in width) from the ground upto second floor's ceiling. Imagine waking up in the morning and seeing it on the driveway,
Heavy Duty! I love the smell of diesel in the morning.
Very impressive! Thank you for the documentary!
Thanks P.A. Mining I appreciate your knowledge and passion for these beautiful machines. Very enjoyable 👍
As always- Thank you for these great docu's, especially of a classic like this.

Beautiful iron thanx for a great video
These must be older units, as I see no cameras or touch screens, which I would expect are used on the current models. Massive machines!
Great 👌💪 we want a D12 😁😎
Beautiful! Thanks!
Interesting how they park them with the ripper down. Is that in case anything breaks whilst parked or just in case kids etc start it?
I'm pretty sure it's for safety. Thanks!

No but I have the 575s filmed. They will be coming up in the future. Thanks!

Don't remember a diesel Dozer being called a tractor. It's not really used for agricultural use and is not used to cultivate fields and pull trailers.
Didn't the 11r ever have differential steer like the 6r and 8r.
Are you sure the 11R had the same horsepower as the 11N? Wasn't the 11N 770 hp, and the 11R 850 hp?

Great video. Are the 992D going to get a documentary in the future?
But D9G Bulldozer its still a legend because Those Bulldozers Are Beast As well as 😎
Are these the same trio that were shown working shot rock in a previous video a few years ago?
Yes sir! I'm surprised someone remembers that video! Thanks
I've watched every one multiple times over the years.... Was awesome seeing these beasts in action then up close!
Any idea on how much a carry dozer will set you back new? Has to be a astronomical amount of loot. Thanks for all the great videos.
Well over two million dollars.
i used t0 run b0th m0dels i liked the carry d0zer f0r pushing sh0t and reclaiming l0ve y0ur channel pa mining
Cool man, and thank you!
Amazing
We have a Caterpillar D6T and 2>D8T, I don't know what T stands for.
Tactical…those models have the lights for identifying the zombies or govt officials before you tantalize them with your towering treads…
It certainly means what my man arborist here said and nothing to do with them being an updated version.
People often ask me what kind of weight I can move put it this I move 25,000 pound boulders WITH EASE.
The D11R Carry Dozer is more than twice the weight and has more than twice the horsepower of the famous D9H.
I at first thought it said "Crazy Dozer"..on the cowl.
The blade is twice the size of my house (in width) from the ground upto second floor's ceiling. Imagine waking up in the morning and seeing it on the driveway,
If you think that blade is big, you should see the 575's blade!
@@PAmining The biggest machine I ever saw was the Bagger at the Garzweiler open pit mine, at a distnce of a few kilometers.
When will you do a face reveal?
Have you joined the Facebook page? That's been revealed there many times Lol

👍👍
U need one to go shopping with.
@@lewiemcneely9143 you buy it and show me how operate it I will do just that lol.
@@scruffy6151 You run one Cat and you can run 'em all with a few differences. I'm on my 3rd million. I gave up on the 1st 2!
You could do a video on the same machine over and over and would still exit whatever video I was watching to watch this
Hahaha, well thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it
Parks with the riper in the ground.....that’s not going anywhere lol
This operator at least keeps his cab clean!!
