I believe to some extent that's true about the interviewer, but I believe Juan Martinez is a man who devotes himself to his task, and doesn't speculate on the peripheral issues of which he is being asked so he doesn't have to avoid them. The bait doesn't appeal to him in the first place, so it's a no-brainer for him--he has no answer for it because he hasn't wasted time and energy pondering it.

That soft voice can only fool people with no brain. She is so narcissistic she really believed in her mind that she would get away with the murder if not a lighter sentence. He doesn't have to read his questions from a piece of paper. He is amazing at cross examinations and is three to four steps ahead of the witness at all times. I admire his passion and his strong work ethic. He has too many excellent qualities to list. I'm glad he is finished with Stabby and I'm glad she has been put away forever. She'll leave Perryville in a body bag one day. Stabby could have had a much different life. But she chose to slaughter her ex-boyfriend because he wanted nothing more from her than sex. She could have kicked him to the curb and found someone else. She was an attractive girl. But instead she chose to kill and now she will wear her prison uniform everyday, scrub bathrooms (they can't let her work in the kitchen ..I mean there are too many knives:), and she'll roast in the AZ heat because Perryville is hot as hell.. Thank you Mr. Martinez for putting this murderer away forever. RIP Travis Alexander.

There is nothing "simple" about him, nor is he truly "complicated" either. His loyalty and devotion to those he serves runs as deep as the ocean, and is as strong and sure, as any force of nature. In his work, can be seen a strength all its own to be reckoned with where right meets wrong, and lies meet the TRUTH in the light of day! He seeks neither fame or fortune. Only to serve his fellow man in the way he best sees himself able....he is Deputy Prosecutor, Juan Martinez, Maricopa County Arizona......if you decide to cross him.....come to court ready, and with a big lunch if you think your lies will carry the day .....!!

JUAN MARTINEZ YOU WERE AN AMAZING PROSECUTOR.
WE THANK YOU FOR BRINGING JUSTICE TO THE ALEXANDER FAMILY
THANK YOU FOR BEING THE VOICE FOR TRAVIS ALEXANDER
MOST OF ALL THANKS FOR PRESENTING THE TRUTH, AND SENDING JODI ARIAS TO PRISON, WHERE NO ONE HAS TO THINK ABOUT HER ANYMORE.

29:01 "...the San Franciscan fog could've rolled in heavy or light..we don't know how heavy the fog is..." Gotta love that fog & you most definitely have to love that fine man & superb prosecutor, Juan Martinez. Thank you, sir!

He's being very careful in his answers. You can tell he'd like to say what he really feels. But he's being professional and not conveying personal opinions.

wow. just imagine how all of jodi's answers to juan's cross in the first trial were being beard by juan for the first time during the trial, like her climbing in the closet to get a gun, and on the fly, juan knew to show the photos of the pristine and organized closet with nothing out of place on the closet shelves!! he's so good at his job!
