About the rods without hook keepers. On my combos where the rods don't have hook savers I hook my hook on holes in the reel. I just make sure the hook and the reel aren't scraping against each other. Should I not do this? I don't see a reason not to.
Baitcasting reels may have such holes can be used to hold a hook. Although, there are many positive/negative opinions to use reels for it. I's say we can do whatever we're comfortable.
Angler Waki, why don't you fish from float tube or kayak? There is so much more opportunity for better fishing in less pressured water away from shore. Love your videos! Thank you for good explanations always.
