Thank you for all of this detail. My '82 XJ650 Maxim has been stuck in "project" mode for a few years now. I hit the wiring phase and all of a sudden stopped building. Was previously reluctant to go to the M-Unit because of cost, but it looks like a really solid system. Keep the vids raw, that is what is refreshing.
Commentary... because you know what you're talking about. I was watching a guy with 30K subs 'restoring' a CB500 with a seized engine beating the hell out of the barrels with a mash hammer to remove them. Strikes me that those who really know their craft always place behind the cowboys on YT - I'll never understand why. Keep up the terrific work mate!

Good day. I just got me Xj 650 Seca R '82 and don't know what causing gasoline to constantly leak from carbs in airlifter chamber. Bike is running well, but when is off, gasoline leaks no matter in what position peacock is. Any help, please, will be greatly appreciated. Previous owner told me that he redone carbs ,but unfortunately not good ,obviously! My whole garage stinks as pump station. Thank you,Des

Hi Wes, I think the M unit is very good, have not had any issues at all and it gets rid of all the relays etc so much neater too

Check you fuel valves inside the carby, there is one per carby
