Completely utterly nailed them. Made of Air is light, but with the underlying feeling that a typhoon technically is ALSO made of air. Made of Water, well, flows. Made of Earth hits right where it should with these drums. Made of Fire is, well, made of fire. It doesn't sound like fire, it *feels* like fire. Mesmerizing, but just with that feeling of impending doom, that ends up sounding justified, when it completely blows up in the end.
The fiddle, the vocals, the electronic sounds. This song, this track, nay, this MASTERPIECE is by far one of the best things Mr. Bergersen has ever composed. It's sensory heaven for me. The greatest piece of music I have ever had the blessing of listening to. It just... I'm an author and I lack the words to describe just how this song makes me feel.
I live near the edge of a town in Canada. At night, if you leave the bright lights of the city behind, sometimes the northern lights wind through the skies. On those nights, I take this song with me as I leave town. If I time it right, the drop at 3:01 happens just as the final streetlights disappear behind me to reveal a sky alive with colour. The anticipation and payoff is something I never get tired of, so thank you for being the soundtrack to my night wanderings.
This track is absolutely magical! It’s essentially the embodiment of the freedom of flight in music form! It’s got a floating and ethereal quality to it and has the ability to make the one listening to it imagine they are flying unimpeded through the air. It makes one feel like they are completely free of anything that tries to tie them down, be it their troubles on the ground or even gravity itself. It truly is beautiful!
She took off her protective helmet as she stood under the huge cherry blossom tree on the hill. The flowers petals were dancing around her in the morning breeze and the gentle morning light warmed her tired soul. She opened her eyes and looked at the vast lands spreading under the hill to the horizon. She decided to fly above them and discover how does this planet look like an old place she called home, her Earth. Well, this what I was imagining while listening to this piece. As usual, Thomas never stops amazing us with his music, just epic
Thomas Bergersen did it again! It's as if this music makes me live in a universe where everything is well... I experience so many emotions listening to this piece.
It is practically impossible to study a musical piece by Thomas Bergersen, he manages to fill each frequency of the music with a running timbre, he is a man ahead of his time, an incomprehensible genius.
100% agreed! These 3 are all unbelievable, easily some of Thomas's best work to date. I also love how they all come one right after the other on the album, 3 absolute bangers in a row!
0:23 personal timestamp This music really makes me feel and it deserves a real comment from me. Wind is the element of freedom and creativity. This song has done it so well, it’s surprising. The electric sounds combined with traditional instruments feel very unrestricted and free, and the singing in the background feels amazing. Then, the violin solo. My favorite part of this whole song. It carries such raw power compared to the rest of the song, basically forcing the song to adjust around it. But it sounds so amazing and somehow similar to the rest of the song. It feels so free, so unrestricted, and so powerful while keeping the same feeling as the rest of the song. The end of the upbeat music and singing, with the solo in the background is absolutely amazing. Im so happy that the violin was used so much and to such meaningful effect, and happy we have a song as good as this. The ending, with the guitar on top of what we had already heard was amazing. The song kept repeating with changes each time, it just represents the feel of wind so perfectly. Wind isn’t just a breeze, it can be powerful and dangerous. But it can also be helpful and freeing, and the song does good at highlighting that. The feeling of flying (or fighting an epic boss) is so perfectly demonstrated in this song. 12/10, would definitely listen again.
One of the best songs of Thomas Bergersen if you ask me... There's just so much energy and perfectly timed en used instruments in here.... Briliantly composed!
One feeling Thomas' music awakes in me constantly is thankfulness. Thankfulness of life and of this world. Thank you for sharing this moment with me too!
Thomas Bergersen is so good. I love how his sound feels like it is from many different places in the world. That feeling of unity just makes me feel lighter than air, like I could really fly on an adventure.
Made of Air y One Million Voices mis preferidas de este Capitulo IV. La evolución de la melodía y su conclusión con la lírica de fondo la hacen magistral. La amo!!!
I have been listening to Thomas Bergesen and Two Steps from Hell since 2013 and the music has gotten me through the toughest times of my life. The music is inspirational, profound, uplifting, motivational and deeply emotional that reaches all senses. I’m always looking forward to your latest work and this track is by far one your greatest. Thanks again.
@@Number_99 Made of Earth just got me on the first listening, and still gets me every single time, tho. I can't say as much for Made of Air. But I guess different people have different opinions (Thanks Greg)
I can't believe how amazing this piece. It really gives me the feeling of freedom like you're flying through the sky. I love this one so much, really great piece. The violin melody is magically gorgeous😍
This song starts really perfect. This and rocket to the moon and Apollo are the best music that I've ever heard in Humanity chapter iv. Thanks thomas bergersen for all this music.
Oh yeea. Here it is. If you watch that with videos of storms and stuff you realize that it’s name is just perfect! Thomas that is just incredible again 🔥

I think those 4 pieces - Made of Air, Water, Earth & Fire - should be dubbed "Spirituality, Emotion, Strength, Faith", or "Idea, Passion, Power, Will" - thats how I feel them.
