Hayden Wilde competes at the 2023 SURFBREAKER triathlon / Mt. Maunganui

Mt. Maunganui turned on a stunning day for the 2023 Surfbreaker triathlon. The Elite race consisted of a double super sprint format with a 350m main beach swim, a 10km double lap cycle, and a 2.5km run, this was completed twice through.
Hayden Wilde (Olympic bronze medalist) would be the man to beat while on the women’s side Ainsley Thorpe would face tough competition from Eva Goodisson.
