Probably a budget issue. It seems like licensing photos and music is a lot more costly in the UK.

Jam and jelly are two separate things and the US has both. The difference is jam is made with whole fruit and jelly is made with fruit juice. I believe the UK just groups it all into "jam" because jelly tends to be Jell-o (or similar gelatin products).

Well, as someone who has lived in both the UK and US, you do call it peanut butter and jelly even if it has jam in it. But in most other things you are right.
@@leafan101I don't. Jelly is jelly, jam is jam. Jelly, US style, is made from clear juice. Jam is made with pulpy juice, strained of bits; preserves have bits and chunks. Marmalade is...well, marmalade.
I tend to eat jam in my pbj and I _call_ it "peanut butter and jam." Actually, I prefer honey, stirred into the pb before spreading it on the bread.

Eleanor "invented" chivalry; she was not against chastity in the unmarried. But I do imagine she opposed it between people married to each other. She certainly had several children with Henry: eight, in fact. "Johnny Lackland" was called that because in spite of her vast holdings, she ran out of kingdoms to bequeath before she ran out of sons.
(So he stole Richard's, a perfidy made famous by the tales of Robin Hood; the Disney cartoon version of Robin Hood even has a song about "John the Worst" aka "John the First.")

Nope, that is not Foley. Foley artists make the sounds that _humans_ make. Anything else is called sound effects.
Where did you learn that? When I studied audio design at University, I was trained that Foley is any noise added to the work (whether film, game or audio) that wasn't recorded live (excluding music and speech etc). Everything I've googled shows that Foley is any sound effect added in post, so I'd be interested to know where you heard it was only human noise.
I wish Alan had a mute button. Or even just to be able to turn him right down.
