So called "net zero" could be done by planting MORE trees and NOT cutting down thousands of them just to put up a few wind turbines like what has already been done in Scotland.

So just like EV cars this EV truck is significantly MORE expensive than a standard truck.
Not only is the initial cost more expensive but, just like EV cars, I am assuming the trucks themselves will weigh significantly more without the trailer being hooked up. Just like EV cars the trucks will no doubt suffer a not insignificant increase in wear and tear on their tyres requiring an increase in their replacement.
I wouldn't put too much faith in the idea about receiving a free tax disc either, for the truck because the free tax disc for EV cars ends in 2024, I believe, when owners will, just like every other vehicle owner, have to start to pay for their road tax.
What will be the cost of servicing for this truck, I'm guessing (having watched videos from EV car owners) it will be quite significantly more expensive.
Just like EV cars I am also thinking that the depreciation of this truck will be eye watering.
I'm not a total doom and gloomer about trying to get to net zero but I'm far from convinced EV is the way to go especially when you take into account the costs involved in obtaining the raw materials to produce the batteries for EV vehicles in the first place. I am much more convinced about utilising hydrogen fuel as the future go to source of energy for vehicles.
