Why Tubex is trying to 'offer the best of both worlds' when it comes to shelters
At APF 2022, Tubex set out to provide customers with answers to their concerns around the use of plastic tree shelters, offering two solutions - the Tubex collection and recycling programme and its own biodegradable product, Tubex Nature.
Catching up with Forestry Journal two years on, commercial director James Taylor said both solutions continued to see high demand.

Demand grows for Dipperfox in bid to keep sites 'neat and tidy'

The first thing you noticed about the Dipperfox demonstration on the RJ Hall Engineering stand was just how quiet it all was. In a show of big, bold machines, the stump grinding attachment provided something of a gentle tonic. www.forestryjournal.co.uk/events/apf-show/ #forestry #forest #forester #nature #timber #apf #apf2024 #timber #dipperfox #stump #stumpgrinder www.forestryjournal.co.uk/sub...

Retaining the same "durable and reliable engineering" as Easy Petrol Post Driver's existing Classic 35 (previously known as the Petrol Post Driver), the new Classic 50 is fitted with a Honda GX50 engine to provide an extra little bit of horsepower - 0.7 more horsepower to be exact - for those slightly more challenging tasks. We found out more during APF 2024. #forestry #forest #forester #nature...

Can't say be to good for your arms or hands
Hes the guy with brand new safety vest and brand new boots. Get a real saw guy, one from the east coast and one from the west. I bet he measures all his logs bucking firewood
I can buck, split, stack twice as fast as that. I'm expensive but I'd still be way cheaper. The production wouldn't even cover the cost of fuel for the equipment. You want to pay that much money for firewood you're an idiot
When I Accidently Right Click
Hmmmmi might be tempted to move from my XP550 to this saw. Actually………. No I won’t 😎
If it ain't broke, don't fix it..😢
You could almost make a cup of coffee in-between cuts.
A good idea but I cannot see it being successful. For the homeowner, it would be too expensive and for commercial use it would be too slow.
Why he pushed full throttle all the time? MS500i doesn't need that full throttle! Fuel injection on MS500i has much more quicker response than M-Tronic or Husqvarna's Autotune.
Our company used to sell/distribute these past pounders. Problem was with pounding 8' posts into the ground, we had to be on a ladder, then lift the pounder over our head and keep the post plumb at the same time. Much easier and less labor intensive to use a skid steer with a pounder attachment. 8' posts were needed for 6' fences.

I will keep all of my old modified 036 Pros Best mid sized saw ever made!
Wow looks amazing
Deannooooo
He is not trying to go fast that is good.
Huh? Should have just kept the 400
I'll stick with my ms150 thanks
@ForestryCommission1
What a waste of resource thunder is great diesel to chew up something that is an absolute essential resource
If it had a longer battery life with a longer bar like the Milwaukee hatchet I’d buy one.
Yep, make it longer battery life and longer bar chain, and you get a pruner chainsaw that weighs heavier than my regular one. It makes perfect sense. I'd rather swap out my battery for half the weight of Milwaukee every 50 minutes or so than hold a 10-pound chainsaw while dangling high up in the tree cutting small branches. But that's just me, though.
22Wh batteries you aren't getting much juice with these small batteries. It's really the reason I ended up buying Dewalt pruning saw for larger pieces rather than buying the GTA 40 even though I already have the GTA26 with 4 batteries.
Яка ціна пилки👍
Definitely looks like an improvement. The lack of an on-board oiler on the previous model put me off! Ended up buying the Milwaukee M12 hatchet. Chain speed is a bit low, but it's excellent for pruning!
Efficient stump grinding on-site!
has exactly the same problem as gta 26 Very little autonomy💩💩💩💩💩 instead of making a longer battery life, they made the same mistake I'm amazed that a brand like Stihl is making so many mistakes
Putting a new model chainsaw up for demo with an operator like that and using it like that for a world of pros to watch on youtube and at a show.. STIHL you just made youself look silly ..period.
Yer saw another vid seems more grunt straight away. Its just a good sized saw to use. Mines been very good so far. Thanx
nice
Simply MS 362.1 , could not live with MS 400, The Real Deal, AMEN !
If they work so well, why do they contain fertiliser?
This is my thought will we be able to still get the magnesium piston are parts for the old one are will we have to change to a different piston say the saw blows
Apparently the proper way to run one of these is just leave it on the chip at all times! Too bad it bogs down terribly as soon as it touches wood.
Does the throttle stick on the new model then?😆
It’s just odd to build a completely redesigned chainsaw with a smaller displacement, different power, but keep the same model number. All this within a short amount of time between previous version. To me, it’s simple. Make the model number different. Done🤷🏻♂️
Is the boom insulated?
Idiotic to can a perfectly good 400c.
Tell me it recharges the batteries on the way back down
Glad i saw this video didn't have any idea Husky came out with this, guess I'll have to go shopping now to find out everything that wasn't covered. Mmm... mmm... mmm....mmm
Cost?
And no demonstration. Wow
Seems normal. Pin the throttle until you're ready to shut the unit off. On a more serious note, I don't understand the redesign unless they are having failures I haven't heard about. It also seems like a lot of R&D and money to lighten it up by 300g.
Excellent !!
362i ?
Stihl 400c in den
So true
