    You damaged it a little... Instead of going so harsh, you should've used a blow dryer to warm it up a little before brushing through it...

    Best way to do it... Tablespoon of Conditioner in a spray bottle... Water the rest of the way...
    Spray it lightly... then Heat it up and Dry it with a Blow Dryer for a couple of minutes... try to focus on a Square foot at a time..

    brush your fur backward, to shed less fur, because it doesn't grow back

    and push the brush instead of pull it, pulling it pulls the fur and it winds up scraggling like damaged hair, this causes the fur to tangle faster with each subsequent brushing.

    This also works with fluffy phone cases especially if you wash them like me

    I have a rug like that and I did not know and I washed and dried it and it kind of melted it do you know how I can fix it? Or is it no good now

    • @Lesrevesdhiver
      @Lesrevesdhiver 3 роки тому

      What you could try is first go over it with a detangling brush and then a smoothing brush.
      Keep in mind that no matter what you do, the rug is not going to be as nice as before the wash but can restore it somewhat. Maybe work on a small area like a square foot, note the results, then decide if the rest is worth trying to salvage.

    Can you do this on short pile fur.

  • @Donnathelady

    Isn't this gonna make it bald eventually?

    • @lina95992
      @lina95992 6 років тому +5

      If you do it many times yeah probably, but atleast it can keep it looking nice for longer. I use this on my ikea fake fur instead of having to buy a new one every few months. :)

    i washed my floor rug and dried it , now its all matted and looks like dread locks , can this be fixed

    • @athenah450
      @athenah450 3 роки тому

      Just use a hair detangler & a detangling brush, any that resembles a Wet Brush

    • @athenah450
      @athenah450 3 роки тому

      But if it hit heat, you melted the fur so you'll have to get a new one
