Alright, so this is probably the most ambitious animatic I’ve done so far. It’s over 4 minutes and has about 275 frames. I'm really proud of how it turned out so I hope you guys will enjoy it as well!
Anyhow this animatic is supposed to take place somewhere between borderlands 2 and 3. I know a lot of things don’t fully add up like Maya probably wouldn’t hang out with Rhys and Vaughn an a few outfits are from borderlands 3. But honestly, I just wanted the characters to have a nice peaceful ending before all the shit in borderlands 3 goes down. LET THEM BE HAPPY GEARBOX!

yea same except its hard to feel bad for lilith after well ya know she was the final betral that led to jack becoming himself, if anything i feel the worst for jack, being cursed with all that knowledge, feeling like he had to use his own daughter for something so terrible just to save the world

Maya even had a note left for someone saying she'd come back for them. Borderlands gets dark

Wow, this was fantastic. Borderlands always plays the drama and the bad things as huge jokes, which fits for the series, but it allows us fans to really make something more... dramatic out of all of it. Seeing Lilith's, Tina's and the other's way of speaking, seeing their stories, and seeing how you mixed up the original with the borderlands universe if very fun! This was amazing! Continue the amazing work.

pandagamer the main story was kinda garbage but the characters from the side quests where still good, and all the returning characters where good to, and the new DLC where you go into kriegs head looks like it could have a good story

The passion and detail you put into this is outstanding. I also like how you personally see a deeper meaning to the story and characters instead of just seeing it as a wacky gun arcade on a spinning meatcycle.

I love this so much, Rhys’ part is on spot. I feel like drift away would be more of a claptrap part too, knowing his lore and god knows how traumatized and sad the guy is. Boot up Pearl would be the 3rd vault hunters coming to Pandora, so many ideas man.

The borderlands 3 story suffers from old geezers trying to connect with the cool kiddos. If that did not happen borderlands 3 would be the best game in all regards.

THIS is what I missed so much when playing Borderlands 3. I'm a long time Borderlands fan, and while 3 was good for what it did, it felt kinda off to me. They used such a small part of the incredible cast we have. I love seeing them all interacting with each other like this! :D

All of you people in the comments that are saying you’ve never played borderlands. Pick up an Xbox/ps4 if you don’t have one and buy the whole trilogy, it doesn’t matter what order you play them in, there’s bl1 bl2 bl presequel and bl3, their amazing games, if you can’t buy them, watch a full play through on all the games, there’s also a telltale game (tales from the borderlands) and the guy with the moustache (Rhys) is from tales from the borderlands, if you don’t know of borderlands, try to pick up on it, it’s very intresting
