Hello, thanks for the video. I have been avoiding this section for a long time now, my reasoning was, i already know many of my chords and thought these lessons might couse some muscle memory confusion down the line. Buuuuutttt i recently realized my BRAIN needs the "baby steps" approach of these lessons to recognize chord notation. And there were two other things that was causing considerable frustration for me, that your video addressed perfectly. NOW, i can finally get over the hump and get on with learning these lessons. The drills are also great. Thank You !!!! After reading another comment about how nice is that you take the time to explain, how many strings to strum with these chords or why some chords (G7) have different notation. Yeah, it is really nice to have that explained. I kept asking myself, "what am i not understanding/missing, that is making this so confusing" it is very frustrating sometimes. As i said before, this video cleared up my confusion. Thanks again!!
Wow. Another Master Class. The discussion of the pick techniques to hit just the 3 strings for the FGB chord. Huge! It is so helpful for you to talk about things like this that are hard so we don't think it's just us and it should be easy. But it's not easy and great that you flag that.
Thank you so much for this. I tried joining a class but couldn't cope up with the timings. Having pre-recorded classes on youtube is so much helpful. I was so sad that I had to give up but watching these videos whenever I get time and learning is so comfortable.
At 10.48 min. Does it sound to you that the G7 chord is off, as if you are playing C# instead of D with the 4 th finger. Perhaps you played E# instead of F too. Fingers appeared to be on the 2nd instead of the 3 rd fret?
Thank you so much for this. I'm learning to play using the book, and sometimes it's hard to understand how some songs are played. Thanks a lot again. Cheers
Thanks for taking the time Nick.
Thank you, Nick!
