As terrible as Tommy Mottola was towards Mariah, which was inexcusable, he hasn’t been exposed to be a pedophile, involved in sex trafficking or sex related crimes. This doesn’t absolve him of his unethical behaviour or human rights infringement, which is also a crime.
Jennifer Lopez is/was protected from P Diddys crimes because of Tommy Mottola. She was not involved because she was never into gangster nonsense. This is obvious from her family background and all the guys she has dated/married. None of them were gangster types.
J Lo entered the music industry when she was older. She was smart enough to see that P Diddy was not a man who would make her a star nor would he be GOOD for her career. She doesn’t seem to speak highly of him.
J Lo is disciplined, hard working and reliable. She is always on time, consistent in her content and the value she brings and she makes her producers/record label money. She knows what’s good or bad for her career. That’s why the music industry can trust her. J Lo has never been seen coming out of clubs drunk or high, unlike other artists who are wild and unreliable, which makes record labels drop them. ANY record label is lucky to have J Lo as as signed artist because she’ll make them money.
J Lo is ambitious, goal oriented and hard working. She wanted to become a star. She didn’t want anything to get in the way of that. She met Tommy Mottola at the right time. Had she not met Tommy Mottola, who vowed to make her a star, P Diddy would have ruined her life too. Tommy Mottolas power and influence, was protection from P Diddy and anyone else who could potentially exploit her or ruin her career. She got lucky and she had intuition. That’s very rare.
Sony has made and is still making a ton of money off of J Lo’s music. Their success is tied to each other. Tommy Mottola isn’t going to taint the singer he founded or the star he created, by throwing J Lo under the bus. He’s going to stand by his decision and the belief that he claimed he had, in her talent, by protecting her and standing by his decision. If he doesn’t, it will make him look like a clown who has no belief in his own convictions. As a corporatist, that’s a bad business move. If you don’t trust your own judgment, why should stakeholders?
Tommy Mottola has been married to Thalia for 24 years. He has not been accused of repeating the mistakes or behaviour he directed towards Mariah Carey, ever again. His track record displays stability while P Diddy is all over the place, embroiled in every heinous crime imaginable including rape, pedophilia, murder, sex trafficking and drugs.

The producers and developers of Titan Fall want their IP back. I suffered through this film, and I can say with absolute certainty that it is not worth your time and attention. To Jennifer Lopez and Simu Liu, the Directors, the writers and studio I would like my 1.5 hours of my life back.
