I've got over thirty bikes right now and for years, but never been bike packing, per-say. I've always used panniers but recently began building up an inexpensive style frame, a Royce-Union V-frame, specifically for bike-packing. This video helped me realize I can do this cheaply. Thanks partner.
@@OutLan they're ok the camber is a loaner mostly they both got alot of aftermarket stuff. They serve me well my abilities arnt crazy but I came from moto x so i know how to ride.
Instead of all those bags, we make our own bike trailers out of old shopping carts and a couple of old kids bike tires. Just a little custom welding and they are good to go, and you can carry a big cooler full of beer. Lol
I see many people that have had issues have been extreme. Not sure how much salt you were using but I lightly salt my food. And eat the food in its natural form in that I don't add obscene amounts of fat or salt. I basically salt to taste. Some meals hardly any some meal more. I also run and cycle 6 times a week so am doing 12 to 15hours of endurance training a week. Happy you found the solution.
As a backpacker who is interested into getting into bike packing I found this video very helpful. Gonna check out them links! Thanks!
Awesome! So glad I could provide some useful information!
Awesome info - I too am coming from backpacking and yeah you’re right about being overwhelmed with all the merch that is out there
Thanks! Yes, there is so much overly expensive gear out there. I don't want people to be deterred just because of that.
I enjoyed hearing and seeing your bike setup with the tied down equipment.
Thank you, my good friend!

@@OutLan Better set your sights a little higher than me, partner. I'm just an old mechanic with bad joints 😃

Sea to summit front compression bag is a good start stick with it
It worked great!
I dig it
Thanks for watching!
Use military surplus stuff
Not a bad option, but this gear tends to be very heavy, and I don't know if any bike-specific gear.
Finally a down to earth video,so tired of these videos guys showing off all there expensive branded names..
Thank you! I appreciate it very much.
Buen video, solo te aconsejo no grabar cerca de el ruido de motores porque es algo difícil de soportar.
Gracias. Estoy de acuerdo en que este no fue el video con mejor sonido. Te agradezco que mires.
cool video and interesting bike lance! how many days did it take to do the 90 miles? 3?
Yes, three days total for me and my son. My brother-in-law and nephew did the entire thing in that time, though.
