I went to my first David Phelps concert Friday night. It was the most amazing time. I’ve seen him with the Gaithers but never alone. This song was awesome. He can sing anything and make it amazing.
Ahhhh, David, so good. I love all his music but his Christmas stuff is really special. I grew up listening to Elvis but I love David’s version of this one. David takes a song and somehow makes it his own and improves it.
My mom and brother loved Elvis. My dad and I liked many of his songs and found his Christmas album (which we have) awesome! I do, though, prefer David's Blue Christmas. I like the softness, mixed with a slight jazz sound, and, I agree Lyle, the guitar, piano, and brushes on the drums added just the right touch. Beautiful!
