- Thanks for checking out our Limp Bizkit reaction. Nookie is an interesting song that is probably relatable to too many people.

I was an extra in this video in the concert scene. Cut last period biology in high school. Filmed in Long Island City, Queens.
Yo that's dope as f
That's cool!
Always love to see comments like this!
any cool story from that day? tell us more lol
🤘
Based on a true story..I remember an interview where Fred Durst talked about the meaning behind the song. He had a girlfriend that would bring him cookies after whenever they fought to make up. This song is about how he caught her cheating on him.. and she's trying to fix things but he's not having it and tells her she can stick her cookies up her....
Isn't it just them ripping off a Green Jello song from early-mid 90's?
@@MW-cx3sb probably unintentionally
Cookies and Nookie : 2 Great tastes that taste Great Together
@@Lurch685 Id say intentionally lol ua-cam.com/video/IA9Ax7kttTA/v-deo.html
Christ on a cracker, unbelievable people.
"I did it all for the nookie, so you can take that cookie and shove it up your a$$"
Cookie is referring to a woman's ummm...err... yeah that.
Think of half an Oreo turned sideways.
Anyhow, now ya know.
LB's unique sound was due in no small part to Wes Borlund and his "outside the box" guitar work. Dude is on another level.
Word
Borland made LB who they were . His guitar work at the beginning of "Livin it up" gives me chills everytime I hear it
Still on another level. Listen to the new album!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Love that freak
@@hoyt_arms ya bud that song is sick. I fn love 3 dollar bill y’all.. sour and stuck are fn Epic
I hate to admit it 20 years later, but this song rocked 🤘
Don't be ashamed, LB was good for a hot minute.
99’ but this is more 00’s look and sound than “90’s” persay
Agreed
Agreed. This was pretty much the look through 2005. BTW, it's "per se."
@@Tammy166 yeah but I’m a rebel Tammy 🤣
It's spelt "per se" but... Okay. :)
this is late 90s... for some reason peeps teens/young adults in the 90s looked much older then todays generation. I mean look at Kurt Cobain, he was 27 and looked 40.
So many people forget that Limp Bizkit was the biggest band in the world for a quick min. And rightfully so btw. Not to say they deserve to be made fun of but they made some real shit that also deserves to be enjoyed. And also because they tossed some shade at some folks that also deserved it. Keep exploring the Bizkit!
"Rod Stewart....is the Bizkit, man." - Ben Stiller
When Ben Stiller laughingly says "That's what his Momma named him. Ohhh, little DJ Lethal" I always crack up. 🤣🤣🤣
@@SilentBob731 yep, I'm already struggling to breathe at the point hahaha
My son was 3 when he first saw the video after hearing it on my car CD player so many times. At the end, when he saw them putting Fred in the cop car, he cried and said with his little lisp "Mommy, they're taking Limp Bizthcuit to jail" He is 21 now and we still listen to it in the car to this day. I love LB!!!
This was a party song for me. I remember peeps would go nuts when this came on
Right man! When these guys first came out, we would drink our @sses off and they would get us SO amped while rippin beers down!
@@hedkace so many nights I can't remember but I remember we were bumping Bizkit lol. They had a few songs that just made us stupid lol glad I survived
Fred was in the Navy, as a Aviation Ordinanceman... basically he put bombs on aircraft. His ex-wife is still in the Navy and still has his surname hyphenated with hers. She's a Senior Chief in the Navy.
I'm pretty sure the song My Way is about him leaving the Navy, and how much he didn't like his Chain of Command.
I’ve never heard this before and I’m geeking out. Even if this isn’t true, this is the greatest turn of the century fan fiction, I’ve ever read.
@@philb323 it's real. I know his ex wife
Brad and Lex there's a track on this album featuring Method Man, called "N 2 GETHER NOW" It is, without a doubt one of the greatest hip hop tracks of all time. Both Fred and Meth in top form. Has a funny music vid too.
The Urban Assault Remix is even better
They are have a lot of cool banger songs with heavy and melody guitars. Lyrics always are funny. Next theis famous tracks are "My Way" and "Rolling"
Don't forget "Break Stuff".
The only words censored are the actual swear words. When he says "So you can take that cookie and stick it up your", that's literally the line. The second part is just him saying YEAHH but it isn't different in the album version. It is deliberate.
@@HiddenCharmhome No, it isn't. That's literally how they sing it in concert. "Stick it up your....YEAH!" That's how it was on the uncensored album.
@@HiddenCharmhome it’s always “yeah,” hasn’t been censored
This was my first concert in the summer of 2000 (I was 13 in middle school) I waited over night on downtown Detroit . It was a free concert and it was first come first serve. They played with Cypress Hill it was awesome. I was on mtv ( still can’t find the footage on here) I hit to meet the guitar player Wes Borland- he was so nice . Limp Bizkit gets a lot of bad rep but I think they’re awesome. Thx for doing this 90’s throwback metal lol definitely check out the song N 2gether now ( ft method man) or rearranged or break stuff (Woodstock 99 )
LB only has a bad rep because of there beef with Eminem, shit i like both!
ua-cam.com/video/lQbnSMJwIAw/v-deo.html Probably this here.
@@xanxusprimo7022 LB had a bad rap because Fred was a dick for the first few years.
Man, I remember jamming this album in like 7th grade hahaha! Great album! *BREAK STUFF* is still a hit!!!
Brad gets it man. Every time. Has an ear for lyrics. And Lex just vibes and has great energy
🤘
Ummmm I think you got that backwards my man, totally backwards.
Addicted to Brad and Lex's reactions. My plea to the live stream viewers to consider...

That is such spiky hair, cargo shorts, wallet chain music.
I bet Durst liked that Eve 6 "heart in a blender" line from Inside Out.
Bodies🤘🏻🤘🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
bodies and save yourself 🤘
Bro this list is top tier. Props.
Nothing these days compares to the 90s. There was so much going on. Kurt, Rage, cypress Hill, rancid, hole, green day, tupac, eminem, Alice in chains, the list is so long but there was also so many bands that where great that never made the charts. Screaming trees, mud honey, Hammerbox, it was a great time in music.
Incubus, Linkin Park, RHCP, Wu Tang, Biggie, NAS etc. definitely one of the better generations for music.
The Significant Other album was such a big moment in my life 😂😂😂
Bizkit we’re awesome. Seen them twice live early 2000’s - both great concerts in England
Re-Arranged is my favorite Limp Bizkit song. Also absolutely love Take a Look Around and My Way.
I saw them, Metallica and Lincoln Park at Giant stadium in 04 limp melted everyones faces. They were electric.
Summer Sanitarium 2.0 tour 2003. Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Deftones and Mudvayne. LB stole the show and Metallica seemed low energy following them.
Linkin Park****
I grew up with LB in Jacksonville FL. Always been a fan since Jackrabbits and bar shows. Thanks for doing this one
MAAAANN this song was life as a kid, this album (significant other) is full of absolute BANGERS
Gotta listen to something from the album three dollar bill, y'all. I think it is the most hardcore and raw offerings and the lyrics are great. Check out the songs Stuck or Counterfeit
Maynard even sang on a track too.
this song was massive. it was all over the radio and mtv. this album i believe won some awards as well.
I’ve been watching you guys for a few months now and I love the looks you give when listening to the 90’s early 00’s hits that I grew up on.. lol.. This song came out when I was a freshman in high school , so they were a huge part of my life! A lot of people hated on them , but they put on one of the best live shows I’ve ever been to & their 3rd album “Chocolate Starfish” is one of my most played albums still to date lol. Keep up the good work
People tend to overlook how tight Sam Rivers and John Otto were in this group…they were so adept at what they did…and Wes Borland brought in the magic….and Fred and DJ Lethal were the icing on that cake…even when I was in that phase of hating on these guys….I always had to appreciate the spine of Limp Bizkit…fucking tight ass unit…
Nu - metal. This came out 1999, after 2 Pac who died 1996. Korn and Limp Bizkit were arguably two biggest names in the genre. For some reason Limp Bizkit has become the band that is cool to loathe.
Less to due with the band itself and more so Fred Durst being pretty annoying.
And right or wrong Woodstock 99 pretty much made them the bad guys of that era forevermore.
i love how lex SLOWLY warms up to the song haha - watch them at the start vs mid song
You check out "Break Stuff" and "Rollin"
I’m a fan of their Behind Blue Eyes cover
The world famous Ebb and Flow style of LB! Love her reaction she really gets into it!
I loved the 90's. I wore baggy pants my fade afro. And jammed at concerts like it was just okay. Hung out with my homies. With my sony walkman. 😂 Just kickin it.
Limp Bizkit is rapcore (I think renamed as "rap rock"). They had a ton of catchy rap/rock songs. I was at their performance at Woodstock '99 (the one with all the fires, rapes, violence , etc.). The energy from the crowd was insane during their set, and at many times, dangerous.
LB is Numetal. Pure, unadulterated nu-metal.
@@Milehighsnake98yer but people used to also call this sort of stuff raprock....
although it was called NuMetal
@@Milehighsnake98no silly , KoЯn is pure nu metal at its finest . Bizkit is in fact rapcore .
Brings back memories. I remember seeing “break stuff” I was like in 6th grade and it was cool haha still bump LB randomly
You should check out their song "Behind Blue Eyes" ... Theme song for the movie Gothika
You mean the remake of The Who song
@@onemanarmy6073 Yep. Still a solid remake considering Fred isn't exactly known for his vocal harmony.
When I was a teenager in Jax beach, a couple times, I opened for Wes Borland (tall guitarist with black eyes) and his little brother Scott. Band called Krunk I think. Went to school with Wes and Scott as well. Good guys from Jacksonville Florida. Musically that first album has Scotts hands all over it but he went to college instead of the band.
Again! I always LOL at Lex's reacts! (Like when the dancers on the roof grabbed their khaki crotches, lol!) I am addicted to Brad & Lex, that's for sure.
Another Great ally/Rooftop video is U2 "Where the Streets have no name" .. and Yes Fred was really arrested for "Disturbing the Peace"
Everytime ive seen then live they've brought it!! Love them 🤟
The late 90's was a great time
Happy 150k subs.
One of the few rap-ish songs I've ever been able to tolerate.
Mostly because of the bass line.
90s had the best music of the damn times
One of the first rap rock bands out there - amazing album
No. M.O.D. then Stormtroopers of Death followed by Anthrax
This was the industry answer to what Biohazard spawned in '91.
There were already lots of rap-rock and rap/core/metal bands around way before Limp Bizkit.
They were far from the first, but definitely were probably the biggest selling band of that genre.
"Wth! You're rapping AND rocking!?... That's it! You're under arrest, son! We're not having that!"
“That sounds like rock and or roll.” - Reverend Lovejoy
Re-arranged is one of their best jams. It's on that same album
God I absolutely love this band, on record, live, to chat to, just love em....
"Take A Look Around" next..?
The arrest at the end was real, around this time we had a few "Gorilla Video Shoots" I know I'm leaving out some but off the top of my head 3 come to mind, there's this one and Rage Against The Machine- Sleep Now in the Fire and Nas - Made You Look.
There is no way that was real. Even watching the songclip when it was released way back then it looked fake af.
Fake
My favorite on from them ! And the lyrics are just BOOm :P
Love you guys
I don't know if he was really arrested, but I know that they made something with it, like in their next video, re-arranged, they are in prison and condemned to be killed... and at the end, Fred said that if they were in heaven, he would be kicking it with Method man, introducing the next video for N together now.... so I think it was more of a concept...from one clip to another... anyway, Bizkit are cool. Significant other is their best album IMO.
Brad will love N 2 Gether now, also Break stuff. Man that album Significant other was in my CD player a lot back in the day. Just like Korn's Follow the Leader.
Korn the 🐐s
Limp Bizkit was one of the best shows I've seen. More lighthearted than you'd think.
For another side of them, check out their cover of the Who's Behind Blue Eyes.
That one was in the movie Gothika. Great movie too!
Ugh, I love Limp Bizkit. Gotta check "My Way", "My Generation" (uncensored) and "Take A Look Around".
And Rollin
COUNTERFEIT
This must have come out AFTER Eve6, Inside Out, which is the "heart in a blender" song. It was a huge hit in the late 90s. Along with Stroke 9, Little Black Backpack, & The Wallflowers, One Headlight.
I was in my teens in the 90s and met Limp Bizkit in NYC. Very humble and chill guys. But yeah I think we all went through being cheating on in our lives. Life hits and you move on but yeah it sucks at the time.
I worked in retail at this time and every teenager and early 20-somethings wanted a red Yankees baseball cap.
Nu Metal - basically rap and metal combined. It's making a big come back now. Always a lot of fun.
Back in the day when alley concerts were a thing. I saw Greenday in an alley with my son in Toronto. He is even in the video lol He surfed to the front and made it into the video. Very cool to watch all these years later. No covid to worry about back then
Love the bass on this song!
This was the soundtrack of my youth. Who am I kidding? I'm 39, I remember when this was new on MTV, this STILL IS my soundtrack! #LB4EVR
You should check Break Stuff, N 2 gether Now (with Method Man), Take a Look Around and My Way
Saw them in 2004 in St Louis inside the dome with Linkin Park and Metallica- talk about a concert! Lots of memories from that one and these bands- they all melted your face off that day!
"i wont lieeee than i can denyyyyy" that was straight up 2pac
My Generation should be reacted to next! Love yalls videos
Love this song!
I loved this song and band in high school. Dig the reactions, but sometimes they make me feel so old 😅🤦🏻♂️ 90’s feel like yesterday...
These guys were HUGE in the late 90s. The genre is "Rock Rap" and played on Alt Rock stations. "Korn" was another band in this genre they got pretty big too and were featured in a hilarious episode of South Park where Korn, The Scooby gang and the kids help solve a ghost mystery 👻
Korn is the reason why LB got big. But that episode is awesome.
I remember this cd flying out of my CD player everytime I was skating home and hit those pebbles on the sidewalk. Yup good times 👍
boy, i remember them in the 90s. This video was a bangee
i remember when this song hit in late 90's, it was huge and im from central Europe.
u might wanna check Bizkit collab with MethodMan
They are having fun!
I know most people won't check it out and people who do reaction videos won't check it out because it's not the uniform standard, but for all those avid music listeners and people who are genuinely interested in music, please check out their first album titled "Three Dollar Bill Ya'll". I listen to countless hours of music and it's in my top 25 greatest albums of all time.
Their best album imo
you gotta do “rollin” next
U should have seen the show they did at the Sunoco station on Wayne Ave.
This was a genre of music referred to as Nu Metal which was popular in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Limp Bizkit never had permission to their street concerts. Yes, they were arrested so many times for many disturbs. In the 2000's were so many videos with Limp Bizkit playing at parkings, buildings, streets, etc. But now there are a few in youtube. Bad quality but you can see what they did. Check N 2 gether now, Break Stuff, Rollin, My Generation or Take a look around.
I hope you can understand my bad english...
I would definitely label Fred Durst's style as "rappish"
You mean crappish lol
More like scream punk mixed with beats and heavy metal
Notre Dame fan talking about something being crap. Irony.
@@chrisrowan702I'm not a Notre Dame fan. My logo represents the fighting Irish which is part of my heritage
Please more Limp Bizkit!!!
Definitely check rearranged..!!!! Limp bizkit’s finest hour..!!
This group is my guilty pleasure.
90s...best music time..
Really good memories with this one. You have to check out My way from them next 👍
One of my favorites. Loved the 90's
This is actually a great CD 💜
Ya'll need to check out "Counterfeit" or "Stuck" from their album "3 Dollar Bill Ya'll." Its the best way to show the magic these guys had before the mainstream success watered em down (sadly).
Brad! Lex! Y'all HAVE to do "Rearranged" next. A great song and a cool music video🤟
Hed pe!! Hed pe!! They're metal, punk music infused with hip hop & reggae. They started in 93/94 & still cranking out music today, songs I suggest are Suffa, Renegade, Killing Time, Ordo Ab Chao, Here and Now, Bartender, Blackout or their new song Sandmine. Thx👊🤘
I was a teenager in the 90's....SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!
At the point of them filming this video they weren’t very famous, this song blew them up into the big time. So when they filmed it without proper permits he did actually get arrested and the cops had no idea who he or the group were.
FYI Their DJ, is DJ Lethal formerly from House of Pain...which is why Everlast hates on Fred Durst / Limp Bizkit constantly.
N' Together Now- Limp Biscuit ft. Method Man. Awesome reaction guys.
Funny that when I first heard this song, it was the censored version (I stupidly bought the album from Wal-Mart and they only sold censored versions of cds) and when I heard the line”Stick it up your YEAH”, I was like “well, this is the censored version and I think I know what he says there but maybe not 🤷🏼♂️ so I wonder what he actually says there?🤔”. Then I heard the uncensored version and he said the same thing. I was like “wait really?, he really says stick it up you YEAH?…🤨…well alright then”.
Nu Metal. They originally got their break touring with Korn...now you need to react to Rollin!
Need to do the limp bizkit Rolling next!
I miss the 90s such a fun time to be alive 🤘
Limp Bizkit - MTV Report - Guerilla Tour, Boston Rooftop, 1999 and Getaway - UA-cam
Fred Durst reppin my home town Jacksonville!
I've noticed Brad listens to the lyrics in the songs whilst Lex listens more to the sounds in general.
It's interesting when you pause to hear your takes.
Brad doesn't hear music. He just hears words.
