I like the M30T for it’s portability, but the single fixed payload aka camera is a deal breaker. What if I need to do LiDAR or there is a new camera that comes out with better specs? To not give the M30 the ability to swap out payloads for a commercial “enterprise” drone is a huge oversight on DJI. I would love to be told I misunderstood this and it can swap payloads but everything I’ve seen tells me otherwise…
Having a drone with RTK antenna(s), but no global shutter is big sore spot for me, espeially if do a lot of orthomosaic 2D mapping and or 3D Photogrammetry. With the M300 you can swap out say the Zenmuse H20T for the Zenmuse P1 or L1. Those cameras are not cheap, but at least you have options.
Payload options? We are using an M300 for SAR work, dual gimbal H20T and either a CZI GL60 or the CZI m130 speaker, have even used the CSM on the top gimbal at the same time. Can the M30 carry multiple payloads?
Hello, very good video, I have a question about the Matrice 300 compasses, where are they located exactly? Are they next to the antenna on the front arms? Thank you
How do you become qualified to fly these professionally? Is there anything beyond having a Part 107 or do I need to learn how to properly like, inspect things. I’ve been an aerial cinematographer for years but I’ve always wanted one or two of these huge super powerful industrial drones and wanted to fly them for industry.
The Part 107 would be the first step, but I'd also learn as much as you can on a specific industry like Telco or energy so you have some prior knowledge of that industry then, if you still want to pursue it learn about drone inspections. This Drone could be the best creation of DJI, and the best Drone ever made! However this Drone has 2 big downsides; 1- You can’t pay $20,000( Australian price of DJI M30T basic kit with DJI care 1 year) in a Drone where the main camera, hardly can turned left and right, I mean when you turned left and right, you can see the arms, propellers, and stuffs, like in the whole frame!!! The main camera should have been able to turned 360 degrees, or at the list 180 degrees in a clean view, only looking for the subject in the frame, specially when it has been “Built/ Made” for first safety responders, like Fire fighters, Police and others!! 2- The main camera should be able to swap for other payload, like P1/L1 and more, specially because it is very compact and great drone with its size and portability! However about swapping the cameras/ payloads, if they haven’t thought about that before realising, at the list they should have made 4 different versions… - First version M30/ M30T, -Second version M30 P1 -Third version M30 L1 -Forth version the Dock one, as it already has been made( but this one it’s specific for companies and stuffs). If the DJI Enterprise Team had thinking about that, it would have been selling just like water bottles!! Specially for many trades out there, and many different industries would benefit from that choice to buy, different needs but in the same Drone, even more special because of those many features like as deploy time, Walter-proof, portability and on!!!
I am using a dji air 2 at the moment. With my iPhone connected to the controller I download every picture to my iPhone and send multiple pictures at a time via iCloud or email. While emailing them you can only send them in bulks of 10 it may be better that way because iCloud doesn’t work unless you have excellent signal. Working off your phone is the quickest way unless you have a desktop or laptop when they want a physical copy of your work. Hope that helps and answers your question
1:47 it is correct setup procedure to unfold the props, they are not designed to spin open like a Mavic and you can cause damage. 3:45 recommend that when making a UA-cam video showing zoom capabilities that you don't look in windows of an apartment. Great video though comparing the two, the M30 does fill that gap between the Mavic Enterprise and the M300 Beast.
Too much essence played on setup time. It takes time too setup correctly to ensure the aircraft is safe for flight. I challenge that 33 seconds is no where near enough time. Defo not trying to be awkward but been realistic as a commercial operator
Of course! You are 100% correct. Although being built for first responders I would bet before an emergency deployment there would be no time for the clipboard and checklists 😏
FINALLY the video is here!
We really have to get our hands on one of them one day 🤞
Awesome work gents!
Side by Side view can also be done on the DJI M300 RTK but it is called Split view
Nice comparison. Might pay to keep a pair of hand shears to clip the grass before taking off!
Love this!! amazing drone..
I bought the M30 to film racing. So far so good

That's exactly what I was thinking, what is the cost comparison of the two.
@@jaredglass2562 both are around 10k
That's why I'm stuck. The m350 has the interchangeable payloads and the other doesn't.
M30T for me though, moving from place to place in a long inspection day I'd be way faster to setup. Planning on getting two to speed up the process.
100%, i work with m300 every day and the biggest challenge for me is to move around the whole setup

Is land surveying possible with the M30t? Compared to the m350
2:33 what I would like to know is the focal length equivalent in 35mm format, the "X" is not that important really

it can't, the payload is fixed from factory.
Great video! Did you guys test the mapping capability of the M30? Particularly interested in thermal mapping
Thanks for the review guys .
I have a different questions though who designed your truck for drone handling I would really like to have the design
Rtk equipped

Can you use the DJI rc plus with the matrices 300rtk?
matrice m30t need D-RTK 2 Mobile Station ?
This will be my first drone m30.
How much price
why cant the mavic 3 have all the cool payload options. anyone know of any aftermarket payload cams
Thanks)
Now, how to get a contracting job with the 30

$14k US for M30T and $10k US for M30

Can you answer this question. I need a drone that has RTK and mapping capabilities, can the Matrice 30 do the job?
The dji style, new products kill the old ones.
And everything else on the market
Buy the drone that can be upgraded…. Cameras change. The drone is a platform to haul them
Extremely advanced drones and extremely lacking battery technology powering them...
I love drones but that saw expensive🤧
just a reminder. m30 is 15k base :D

do not compare them enjoy them, I have the Mavic air 2 and for me it is the best in the world.
Humans compare things, we won't stop Michael!
M30 t is raining hell 8n Ukraine russian being using it for 2 mounths now
They just need to send some of these to the boys in Ukraine.
Already in action
M30T is much better drone for Ukraine, as it’s cheaper and lighter. The only thing 300 can carry more ammo.
30 minutes down from 40? Not funny, DJI. That’s just dishonest.
Neither, I buy Autel.
