the white veggie in sinigang is a daicon
Since you are in Cebu, its a must that you try Cebu Lechon!
Try:
Inasal (grilled chicken)
Lechon ( grilled whole pork)
Sisig (sizzling pork face bits)
Crispy pata (deep fried pork knuckle)
Kare-kare (meat or seafood in peanut sauce)
Tinola or binakol ( chicken in veggie soup)
Paksiw or Inununan (fish cooked in vinegar)
to name a few...good luck!
Adobo(Chicken,Pork,Squid)is the iconic of all Filipino dishes. While Sisig is an popular streetfood dish.Lechon is an all-time favorite occassional/festival food. Halo-Halo is an iconic desert of all. Eat healthy and moderately🍝🖒👍😉
Halo2 means mix2 so you have to mix the ingredients thoroughly b4 eating
You easily reached 10K subscribers...thats wow...Filipinos are supportive
It's incredible and we're are very grateful 😊
I enjoy watching you vlogs. The sliced white object is a raddish. It helps in adding to the sourness of the soup. Btw, you have to squeeze the lemoncito and mix it with the pancit to make it more yummy.
The biggest raddish we've ever seen haha 😄 the pancit was yummy 🥰🥰
Love seeing you guys promoting Philippines, which is known to be hospitable, kind, helpful & more.. enjoy your stay & the culture.. keep tasting the foods.. they’re fun & delicious. Watching from California USA.
It truly is the friendliest country we've visited so far 😊
The white is radishes. I had never tried octupus adobo but the pork and chicken is very tasty.
You are in cebu. The home of lechon. Which is a whole pig cooked over a open pit. It has a crispy skin and juicy pork meat in every bite.
It might be uncommon but we can tell you it was delicious yummmmm 😊😊
Great keep.trying the filipino food. They have some amazing dishes.
I didn't see you guys eat the rice.. as you can tell, some of our food has some strong flavors, like the sourness of the sinigang or the soy sauce from the adobo.. the rice helps melow down these flavors.. try it and you'll be 100% Pinoy😁👍
Rice rice all the way 🥰😊
Thank you so much for choosing philippines for your destination,a lot more offer to you guys,,7000 plus island had different kind of food each island,,But adobo our national food..Come back on December to spend christmas, you can feel and see how pilipinos celebrate christmas and new year,,
We're loving our time here its amazing and Philippines over Christmas sounds like a cool idea 😊🥰
You must try bulalong tagalog, kare-kqre, bicol express, bicol laing, sisig kapampangan, pakbet ilocano, bagnet, ilocos longganisa, batac empanada, ilocos miki, fresh lumpia, turon, banana cue, camote cue, among others.
You're making us hungry 😊
We can suggest and recommend foods based on what province youre gonna visit. Every province has different specialty dishes. Stay safe guys
We've noticed everywhere has its own speciality and that is amazing 🥰😊
The "mystery" white veggie in the sinigang is a radish slice =D
Sinigang can have a variety of main meats: pork, beef, seafood; as well, a variety of souring agents (not vinegar): from tamarind, to guava, kamias ("tree cucumber"), star fruit and other more exotic sour fruits. If in the islands, they would "sigang" ("make sinigang out of~") fresh catch such as the shrimps in your soup and pancit. If using chicken ("manok"), the souring agent would be the fruit of the tamarind ("sampalok") or, if in season, tamarind shoots (baby leaves), in which case it would be yet another dish [Sinampalukang Manok-yes, a mouthful, sorry =p ]
[ Aww, love the love you're giving the calamansi 💕 ]
And that's a rich mix of halo-halo ingredients in that bowl! (Many Filipinos including ourselves actually take our time eating it until its it's quite melted and all the flavors are well blended). Cheers.
👍 👍 👍
That raddish was massive haha 😄 loved all the food that we tried and the calamansi is literally the best smelling thing ever 🥰
You folks are really having a great time in the tropical Philippines.
We are having the most amazing time indeed 🥰😊
Yes Pilipino are supportive to some foreign vloggers who appreciated our country people and culture keep going guys, enjoy watching your content.👍😘
Thank you so much 😊
Enjoy the beauty of the philippines while you are here visiting the beautiful place in the Philippines. Good luck. God bless both 🙏
Thank you 😊
Welcome and hope you enjoy staying in Philippines. We love foreign vloggers here and like to watch them trying foods and life here. We are happy if you enjoy our foods, places, Malls, local people and so forth. 90% of Filipinos speaks and write english and we love to watch YOU TUBE than other social media flatform. In YT, we just play and watch/listen then we enjoy and undersstand. Reading is not always our likes here. But most importantly, its free from internet. We almost forgot movies here. Many theatres actually closed here. Your videos is one of the good videos I can watch.... Always feature local foods, street foods, unusual things you cant find in your country, new places and most of all, communicate with the locals and know their hospitalities like playing games, talking, having Filipino friends with the blogs... Etc... Am sure these simple tips will earn you Hundred Thousand of Subscribers here ... You got amazing videos ... Thanks....
Thank you so much, we're loving it here 🥰😊
Nice to know you are enjoying the Philippines. Been following and watching all your Philippine vlogs

Pancit it is!! We'll have it all the time 🤣🤣
that halo halo looks really delicious, glad you enjoyed it as much as we watch
That halo halo was yummmyyyy 😊
Yummy food! 👍🏼Glad you enjoyed the food. Try chicken or pork adobo (cooked in vinegar/soy sauce), bulalo (soup base w/beef, corn/potato/string beans), pork or tofu sisig (seasoned w/salt, pepper & vinegar), Shanghai lumpia (fried eggrolls pork/shrimp), fresh lumpia (wrapped in fresh flour/egg wrappers with mixed veggies) topped with sweet sauce w/peanuts. Filipino people are well known for being hospitable, friendly and humble. Truly lovin' you guy down to earth personality. 👍🏼It's also awesome you're giving the restaurant exposure/business. 🫶
Sounds yummy thanks for the suggestions 😊

There’s no calamansi scented perfumes. But we have calamansi soap (for whitening, not for scent), calamansi in laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid hehe.
Washing powder that smells like calamansi? No wayyy 🥰🥰
I like the positivity of your vlogs. I always look forward to your vlogs
Thank you so much 😊
Wow All Filipino Food is Yummy..

@@sunkissedbucketlist you can always ask a supermarket (Puregold, SM) staffs so you wont waste your time to check the whole supermarket ☺
The sweetest mango is from Guimaras
Enjoy !!!
Keep safe always
We've really enjoyed the Filipino mango, it's awesome 😊🥰
I'm watching your video and kind of enjoying your innocence when it comes to Filipino food. Well don't you worry we will guide you or you can ask the locals nor the restaurant servers before you order the food. WELCOME to the PHILIPINES. Tag line is Its more fun in the Philippines.
Thank you for the kindness and the warm welcome to the beautiful Philippines 😊🥰
That " white slice of something " in the prawn sinigang is a slice of daikon raddish. :) it's called "labanos" in filipino.
You should also try pork or beef or bangus(milk fish) sinigang. :) Don't you think sinigang is similar to 'tom yum'?
Is it Daikon in Cebuanos? And Labanos in Tagalog?
Ooh... yummy, yummy! Enjoy my friends.
It was the best lunch ever 😊🥰
🐙🦐🐙🦐🐙🦐 What fabulous hosts at that restaurant! So warm and genuinely welcoming #itsmorefuninthePhilippines
Had the best time there and the food was so so good 🥰😊
Yummy pancit and sinigang enjoy your food madam..
Thank you 😊
You guys are Filo the way you ate our cuisine perfectly!
Haha thank you 😊 it was yummmyyyy 🥰🥰
If your soup turns cold, have them heat it up for you (any restaurant) bec it’s really better eaten hot. We make baby squid adobo at home but rarely and when available. It’s not that common. I’m guessing the octopus is the same. Pork sinigang is better but for first timers, you’ll either hate it or love it. But one thing’s for sure afterwards, bec if its unique flavor you’ll be kind of looking for it, the taste, until you appreciate it and then love it like everybody else.
Octopus Adobo was amazing 🥰
that vegetable that you were asking I believe is "Daikon Radish."
Its radish yes 😊
You guys should try Kare Kare but make sure you eat it with the shrimp paste or it wont taste like anything. Kilawin is like a ceviche - good with beer. Lechon kawali or crispy pata - great with spicy vinegar. Ginataan gulay ( vegetables in coconut sauce. Beef Kaldereta. Or the silog meals for breakfast - always eat it with spicy vinegar. Wew that got me hungry, lol.
Thanks for the suggestions 😀
true. filipinos are very very hospitable. they accept other people into their homes and into their lives. u know what else they do? they also make your life theirs. they get all into your business all day everyday. ever heard of "The Legend of Marites"?
Filipinos are the kindest people we've ever met 🥰😊
Sinigang & Pancit my favorite.
We love both yummmm 😊🥰
That is a big raddish cutlet for tangy balancing flavor taste in the soup.
It was really good though 😊
Calamansi juice with mango is my favorite!! :-)
Oh that combo sounds amazing 😊
If you love calamansi you can bring calamansi seeds and plant it in your country. It’s very easy to grow. You can watch in UA-cam how to grow it.
That is a great idea 😊
love your vlogs. keep it coming 🥰
Thanks alot 😊
It seems you are enjoying a lot! Im so happy
We are LOVING it 😍
Halo Halo in English is mixed. So you have to mix it first before you eat. You can feel the creaminess & savory of the halo halo.😀
Loved it nonetheless 😊👌🏻
Sinigang !!
Voted the worlds #1 soup🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
That is amazing 👏 😊
Oh yeah, another cool vlog guys! Basically, Filipino cuisine is a combination of Spanish, Chinese, Malay, Polynesian, and American cuisines if you would notice, that is why it has a wide range of palettes and contrast from creamy to sour to sweet. It's unusual for foreigners to like Shrimp Sinigang for the first time because of its kicking sourness, what usually is tolerable is the Pork Sinigang as it has the perfect combination of fat meaty creaminess, and sourness, but anyway, you enjoyed it. Cheer to that! So dig deeper and love the palettes, here is my list to try, let's begin with the standards: SOUP BASED - 1. Pork Sinigang 2. Chicken Tinola 3. Bulalo 4. Molo Soup Noodles 5. Sotanghon Soup Noodles 6. Lomi Noodles SAUCE-BASED - 1. Pork Menudo 2. Chicken Curry 3. Beef Caldereta 4. Chicken Afritada 5. Pork Asado 6. Pork Giniling 7. Chicken Pochero VEGETABLE DISHES - 1. Laing 2. Chop suey 3. Pinakbet 4. Ginisang Mongo. BREAD - 1. Pandesal 2. Ensaymada 3. Egg Pie 4. Pan de Coco 5. Mongo Bread - You can get these in all the local bakeries. That's it for the meantime. More list to come soon. Haha, Cheers!
It's a combo of everything amazing and we love it 😊🥰 thanks for the suggestions
Huh? Chicken curry? Filipino chicken curry is a pale imitation of Thai and Indian curries. Beef caldereta? Why not suggest the real caldereta that uses goat? Chicken pochero? Real pochero is made with pork belly. Chop suey? That's an American-Chinese invention. Egg pie is just a variation of Macau's egg tart. Seriously, if you're going to suggest Filipino food, suggest the real thing.
@@linoarquiza5433 So what is ur problem? ur done? These are all available in PH that we innovated for centuries if not original and enjoyed, so why not recommend them? PH is a mix and match of all the colonizer's influence you got to admit that and having that makes us unique. So recommend them what u want and I don't care.
Lovely couple 💑 Enjoy!
Aww thanks 😊
White radish and it’s vegetables😋😋❤️it
Yummy 😋
I love that you guys have that exotic taste! Surprised that you beat me there at adobong octupus! Never had it yet! Halo Halo has to be mixed well first thus means mix mix!
You have to try it, sooo yummy we loved it 🥰 halo halo is the best thing ever 😋
Halo-halo my favorite too.
Thats Taz's absolute favourite 😍
You can buy the calamansi syrup in a bottle and you can make calamansi juice similar to lemonade just water and sugar

Oh wow we had no idea 😊
Hi!! Taz andDebby..I really enjoyed. watching.your vlogs ..I am glad watching you guys enjoying trying eating our Filpino.foods ...
Taz and Libby haha 😄 the food was amazing 🥰
My combo for sinigang especially seafood sinigang would be charcoal grilled pork which everytime i get the chance to come home i would request my mother to prepare... inihaw pork with blanched eggplant, okra, sigariyas with buro and a side of sinigang... it leaves my homesick heart in a state of zen... the only thing that would make it better is a grilled tuna jaw for later along with a number of beers to be shared with mates and family.
Oh wow that sounds like a feast and a half haha 😄
I so love your accent guys. Its so cool to hear. Compared to other UK youtubers they all sound the same to me. But yours are kind of special to my ear. My guess maybe the location where you came from UK. Hmmmm. Love your vlogs guys!

there is lots of carenderia (filipino food vendors) all over the Philippines. Even in Manila sides streets are full of them. If you can eat and like Filipino food then its a game changer, you can now live there very cheap. At carenderia's for 1 person full meals there will probably cost you from $1 to $4 per person. I say average $2 will probably get you pretty full.
Wow that's value for money 🥰
nice vlog again!shout out here!from Baguio city.
Baguio what's happening!! Big up 🤙🏻😊

There's a lot of variety of pancit based on the locations. You also try pork or fish sinigang, and many different adobo in the country, it depends on the region. There's chicken, pork, duck, or chicken-pork adobo.
SLMT po.
Adobo in all different shapes and sizes haha 😄 we loved the octopus one, now let's try chicken 🐔
Different regions will have different cuisines or different takes on national dishes like adobo. Bicol will have spicy/coconut milk forward dishes. Pampanga is where sisig was invented. You have to try tibok tibok there. Negros will have your inasals, kansi. And Cebu has the best lechon. And I have yet to try indigenous food in Mindanao.
Thanks so much for the suggestions 😀
The white round slice vegetables in Sinigang is Radish
