Hot take: Stephen Curry is a more demoralizing player to guard than any player that has ever played basketball.
Most of the top players in the league have usually had some sort of physical advantage over the rest of the league (Shaq, Jordan with his freakish athleticism, Wilt, LeBron, etc). So when you're guarding them, even if they're going off on you, at the end of the day, you can hang your hat on the fact that those guys are bigger, stronger, faster than you are. You can't do that with Steph because he isn't any of those things, and yet he's every bit as dominant offensively as any of the guys I named.
