@kmhuis I agree that able did help a bit, but GGG was already fighting the way he is now back when he was in the amateurs. What GGG needed in his career was a Technical trainer. Abel is good and building knockout artists and power punchers (GGG,Gassive) but what happened the min both those guys stepped in with an elite technical fighter?? They got blindsided and abel had no answer. "Just keep doing what ur doing" is what he usually says. GGG needed and needs a new trainer or at least a second trainer to prepare him for elites with a full Arsenal

Abel Sanchez never boxed, best trainers were boxers , even ricky funez who had just a few pro fights is a decent trainer bacause unless they've laced them up in competition they just dont know the feeling . its easier said than done, just like Big G never boxed and his son did thats why he's a better trainer. I never liked how opinionated Abel is for som1 whon never was, his advice between rounds was never constructive cus he doesnt know.
