"I do what I need to do regardless of however I'm feeling" THAT!!!! This is literally the reason why I'm where I am today, this is the realest advice someone could give 💯 Love this style of video, I'll try it too haha
YAY and 100%!!!! Too many people give up too early or rely too much on their passion to get to where they want to go. Discipline is everything! Can't wait to see what you make!

7:13 This is exactly how i used to name all my tracks, trying to keep cool names until i realized it causes more confusion than clarity XD Cheska back at it with a great vid :)
hahaha 😂 yeah it's so funny coming back months later when you've forgotten about it and you're like "I wonder what this is..." and it's either surprisingly good or surprisingly bad 😂
Hey Cheska, as someone who's starting out as a music composer, would you say you have to know notation software? For you,d o you use it often or perhaps rarely use it in your day-to-day work?
Nope! Absolutely not, at least from my experience in indie film. Most productions budgets only allow for mock ups or hybrid productions (layered recordings and sample libraries). According to more established composers like Anne Kathrin-Dern, most Hollywood films are also primiarly mock up based and things are shifting towards automation in the notation world. Also, very few composers actually do purely live scores.
