The mules and horses are not paying anything at all in Bulgaria. Actually they are banned to enter in the city.

I lived in Sofia for a year and a half before I finally went to Plovdiv. 😂 So I feel you. It will be there. It's been there for thousands of years! 😀 Chill days in Sofia are the best! Dude, the next time you are in Sofia, I could totally show you around. SO many lovely local places. I know a ton, but there are always more gems to be found. I love this city! 😍

Here we use the Cyrillic alphabet, created in the end of 9th of century by Clement Ohridski in Bulgaria and is spread all over Russia, Mongolia. ..Over 300 milion people use it.
The Latin and Cyrillic alphabets use the Greek letters as the basis. In the Cyrillic alphabet are added specific letters, some of the sounds, which are in the Slavonic languages, while in the Latin alphabet these sounds are written in a combination of separate letters.
The letters are not difficult, as the Latin letters are not difficult for the people who use Cyrillic. :)
It takes only some diligence and desire to learn it.

Great vid! As a Bulgarian I strongly suggest you to try some traditional Bulgarian food like Shopska salad, Banitsa, Shkembe soup, Kachamak ext. Also if you have enough time visit other towns like Plovdiv, Veliko Turnovo and also the Rila monastery

@@pietrojenkins6901 I would say that we are pretty tolerant towards other cultures and races. We don't like gypsies though, but that is another story. We have never ever enslaved people, colonised, robbed out or shit like this, that the today's "tolerant" countries used to do for centuries. Although Bulgaria was with the 3rd Reich in the WWII not a single Bulgarian jew was killed.
The N word is not a taboo in Bulgaria though and you can hear sometimes people (especially older generations) using it but they definitely don't mean it a way to insult anyone.

The drink in the end is called Ayrian and you can think of it as a liquid yoghurt. We like to say that yoghurt has bulgarian roots, so this is something like a national treasure!

You should visit Plovdiv. It has a lot better energy than Sofia, it's tidy and with better infrastructure. It's the only city in Europe together with Rome build on 7 hills. There is an ancient theater that is fully functional and the city is European capital of culture exactly this year, so there are a lot of events going on. Also, people are much nicer and more friendly than in Sofia(I live here) and the women are very beautiful.
Plovdiv is famous for many things but one of them is the word "ailqk", which basically means chilling. That is what all people in Plovdiv love to do. :)
