Kelly smokes A LOT, so that's probably why his voice kinda got wasted over the years. It's unfortunate that he got tendinitis. He kicked fucking ass at playing the old songs.

I respect him for the energy,, but it always sounds like a drummer playing just above what he's capable of. If that makes sense. I've always loved Elements though.

Funny because I'm almost only into much more melodic stuff (from Hendrix / Purple to Blind Guardian more or less) but Atheist is the only DM band I managed to realy get into, happened instantly at first listen ; tthey sound so much more "natural" than all the growling stuff.
Dear Atheist, pls play your overly busy music in or close to the original tempo, so that the listener, especially new ones, can get more out of it. You're wasting your songs and your time on stage. This thing is collapsing at least 3 times per song. You pretty much had it in the last one.
