A couple things about this quest have changed that I noticed. (1) the chant is not backward at the end, you just say it forward(if you forget the chant and get it wrong, you can read the demonic tome and it is on page 6), (2) the quest just ends immediately after killing the demon, you select your xp reward then it's over, no need to unequip darklight first. Other than those small changes this guide is perfect as always, thank you so much slayer!!!
if you get stuck with father reen and you only have 1 sigil, talk to dave again and select option 2 to tell him to go back down there. you will get the 2nd sigil back and be able to talk to reen again and see the 3 options.
If you cant see option 3 to talk to Golem about the book : Then, talk to Matthew about Josef. He will tell you to find the book that Josef dropped in order to defeat the demon. Talk to the clay golem who will explain that Denath killed Josef, but not before Josef hid the book in the kiln outside. You must talk to the golem before you can search the kiln!
i had a bug with the golem during the sandstorm, he got my demonic sigil and didn't went to the dungeon, now i have to make another one, thankfully i didn't drop the mould! be careful

Useful for those who get stuck after getting up from the portal room. IF you forget to pick up the 3 demonic sigils and get stuck at the tornados.. Simple teleport to G.E buy 3 new Silverbars and smith some so you got 4 just like him, and go back and talk to the golem. He will go down the stairs and you go there too. Go fight the demon. :D I am unaware if it is needed to buy 3 silverbars. I just did it to be sure... NP Thank me later.

I’m at 12:50. I accidently skipped the cutscene where I was suppose to see someone die from the ghosts. I believe the demonic sigil despawned and I can’t talk to Jennifer to get a mould again. Where can I acquire another demonic sigil?
If you follow his google document from the start and do the quests in his order you should have similar stats to him and will need the range levels in a few quests time.
I was also stuck at the end because the golem did not go inside, all I had to do is take another strange implement, use it on him, then he went inside.
Okay so if you find yourself stuck because the Gollum and the 2 fathers are in the room, but Matthew is saying to get 1 more person. Go and talk to Evil Dave. You also need to tell him to goto the room.

So I had an issue where my prayer dropped at the end when you choose your exp reward and it closed the interface, if this happens to you simply equip and unequip your darklight and you will be prompted to choose your exp reward.
when I talk to Mathew he just says we need one more person. I can't get the clay golem to go in! both the priests are in when I talk with the clay golem it just says ill be back with the strange implement which I already have. I can no longer get the chat mentioned in the video. when I use the strange implement on him it does nothing any ideas?

FOR THOSE STUCK - On the part where you have to give the sigil to the Golem, if you are not able, it is because of the sand storm and every time you are damaged it will cut off the dialog, you must do it fast, as well Badden so that he will take the sigil and go downstairs, THEN you can say the the spell backwards and finish.
You can get an extra Demonic Sigil mould from Jennifer underground in Uzer. For those of you who go back to Uzer for the ritual, and for some reason ended up with only 3 sigils, and dropped your mould at the pass when Slayer told us too. XD XD
flinch spot didn't work for me so I tanked with a poison weapon and rune sword. Got lucky at the end since I forgot to swap to the sword and I assume I switched midblow
i got father reen the golem and the other priest and mathew is still telling me we need one more person please help with hangups like this it can break the quest
Dropped sigil mold ended up being short on 1 sigil. Jennefer does not give me the option to buy a new mold to make another. without this quest i cant get barrows gloves and that pretty much ruins my account. someone please help!!!!!!!

I'm actually so pissed because I didn't grab the sigil during the incantation and now I have everyone inside the circle but Father Reen and I dropped the sigil mould because you told me to and now im screwed and Jennifer isn't giving me back the sigil mould WTF MAN!
I was around the same stats, but got killed at the very end of the fight. I couldn't eat my food fast enough after using a prayer. I'm leveling on some sand crabs now. Going to get Atk/Str/Def up to 55 and try again.
When i try to use the steel bar on the furnace it doesn't let me...says I need a cannonball mould to make cannonballs!!! It's not even giving me the option to make a segil!!!!
Lol I intended to do this quest for the range xp. After I saw the flinch spot I paused the video and killed the boss. Then an xp option appeared and I chose strength. I didn't realize that was the quest reward 😂 I thought it was going to given in the normal quest complete interface. RIP

You have to talk to Evil Dave after you talk to Father Badden, Golem, and Father reen during the storm, Evil Dave also needs to go down, Or Mathew will say you need one more person. This guide forgets to mention to talk to Evil Dave and select option 2.

Very smooth guide with the verbal ques when to select 1 2 or 3 with the chat dialogue. very impressed with the speed.
Final blow Silverlight bug: Stay in melee range when you fight him at the end. Don't safespot/flinch.

You need to speak to the father to start the quest. Regardless if you have silver light or not.

range is most expensive/annoying to train at low levels
If you follow his google document from the start and do the quests in his order you should have similar stats to him and will need the range levels in a few quests time.
