It's amazing that since we got first glimpses into graphics of hellblade 2 and now it went from "omg this is the best graphics ever and can't possibly be exceeded" to "yea it's good graphics"
Yeah kinda sad that everything needs to be a photoscan nowadays... in term of creativity and work it's around zero for me. it's not crasfting it's assembling a box of premade assets and that's sad.

@@Nohiro.3D I don't think that's really fair to say. Surfaces and objects can be photoscanned, sure, but it's not like they photoscanned all the locations and placed them in the game. Even if they did it would still be a ton of work. Same with enemy design. If this looks like zero amount of creativity and work was involved I don't even know where to start aguing it. We'll see when the game is released, I for one am looking forward to it.

I don't know how I feel about Senua having buddies that also see the mythological stuff - I thought the whole idea is she constructed her own warped reality based of Druth's stories.

How are we sure that her friends are also real?
We've seen how far her psychosis goes in the first game. From entirely imaginary places to new creatures as manifestations of her trauma. It could be that she's hallucinating fellow soldiers. Or they're actually there fighting something, but she's the only one that sees that "something" as a giant.
You want to assume that everything is 100% her imagination... But guess what, not everything is...
Didn't see any gameplay I would say. Only in-game cinematics.
They take a movie type approach with the game. I saw a few of y'all say this trailer didn't have gameplay so I skimmed through it and she fights plenty of times throughout the trailer, that isn't in game cinematics that is literally gameplay where you have to press buttons, do combos, and fight lol

You know when they say 16 minutes of gameplay and show 16 minutes of in game cinematics, the game is going to be average. Otherwise, they would show it off. More GP fodder.
Her throwing the spear at the Giant and then running from it was literally gameplay.
It just looks like cinematics because that's exactly what the gameplay looks like. You can't tell the difference between the two and that's by Design
Gameplay? That’s entirely scripted and you will likely just hold up to run where the game makes you go. That’s not gameplay, it’s more or less an interactive movie/cutscene

Big big peops to the company interviewing the staff. The lighting and cinematic shots wjere subleme. Only donwside if feel from this, is most folks from the studio are simply auto cueing, making it feel hollow and empty. Only the end partz the sound designer felt true to word. He was telling his side on point.

Nah. I didn’t care for the first one and this looks like just one big movie. I’d rather have an actual game with actual gameplay, not a movie with 0% replay value.
I mean, to each their own. But the first one definitely has plenty of combat. Fairly balanced in my opinion. I'll be enjoying this one as well. Just beat the first one for the second time today.

That's actually a good thing their aiming at a purely cinematic experience and sometimes 60fps takes away from that it's great for high action experiences but if you like games that play and looks like your playing a movie 30fps is perfect for that when the graphics are really good and this game looks like a strait up cinematic animated movie that's blurs the lines of looking like a real movie and I'm all for it

There is no point in the game looking graphically impressive if this is the kind of game that plays itself. Might as well be condensed down into a movie
