And it's probably more effective on Heavyweights than on lightweights considering that Heavyweights are more likely to go for oneshot kills.
I see that now. Good comparison.
This guy's boxing is clean and fast especially for a heavyweight
Everyone are sleeping on Pavlovich in the UFC. Since his loss to Overeem he came back stronger and just destroyed everyone
Nobody is sleeping lol
Pavlovich and blaydes are next challenger for jones
some people just type anything.
@@ushireborn Right? he clearly has a lot of hype at this point
European men are the best Fighters!
Out of all the Europeans, slavic people are.
He's a big unit isn't he? Bloody hell! Every. Single. One. Of those punches was MASSIVE. No messing about, no half cocked punchs. Both hands as well. Good lord!
Hes definitely a badass but also shows a lot of respect.
Prvak i najveći svih vremena će biti!!! Sergej samo nastavi tako.
More than with his power iam amazed how well hes able to chain such powerful shots. He doesnt stop shot that missed, instead uses the momentum to chain it into another technique. Hes very precise and have good aim as well. I like him.
Dude is the heavyweight Old school Chuck Liddell and I'm here for it!
Wow haven't been following mma in a while but I'm interested in watching this guys fights. He is entertaining, hits like a truck, shows mercy to finished opponents, and apparently doesn't poke anyone in the eye. New fan.
Intentional eye pokes should result in a DQ.
6:06 that takedown showed his wrestling instincts. Much quicker than your usual HW. He’s gonna give Jon Jones a god challenge. Can’t wait.
It wasn't that good.
Excellent summary of the Pavlovich reign of terror! Keep up your great work! 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
You CANNOT get hit by this man. Every single shot that lands hurts his opponent and is most likely a rock, even his JAB(as you see in the Green and Tuivasa fights)
He's seriously has nuclear power in his hands 🤯
Blaydes said Pavlovich hits harder than Ngannou
@dumbyetsmarterthanyou2960 Pav is a better striker and has possibly more speed. why not acknolwedge some good about him. You don't like him?
@dumbyetsmarterthanyou2960 way slower? Wtf... You just didn't Pav like Pav. End of story... This dude says he's being ng logical 😭😭😂
@dumbyetsmarterthanyou2960 By your last comment I can tell you know a whole jack shit about MMA, comparing how many minutes took Ngannou to knock all these guys than Pavlovich took and then coming to the conclusion that makes him better than Pavlovich, not saying Ngannou isn't very dangerous cause he is but you putting Pavlovich off like that shows how much knowledge you have about MMA, or you one of those that simply dislike Sergei cause he's Russian. Peace!
@@TJ-tj3rnAnd everyone knows it's total BS
Reach and accuracy is a deadly combo
This warrior is gonna dominat 4 a long time to come, I see a GREAT LEGACY in the making. Keep going Sergey, much luv & respect Brother 👍👍👍
WOW !!!
I'm so impressed by this athlete.
At this juncture, he appears unstoppable.
I wish him luck (to go alongside his skills), although he probably doesn't need "luck".
Yes, It's the very good point!
That crazy arm length mixed with his height is allowing him get his overhand over his opponents lead hand even when the fighter has his chin down. Super tough to block.
and the semi uppercut as he walks in down the pipe, puts his whole frame through it. sheesh.
and so fast , that left is heavy so they are forced to block and then boosh.
the killer instinct too, he seems to know when hes rocked the guy properly and just rolls on in.
i cant see jones having long enough to wear down with leg kicks!
@@deadprivacyReyes landed at will on Jones, Sergei would win that fight, bad matchup for Jones
He’s the Conor McGregor at HEAVY .
Expect knockouts
@@Khabibsbathtub indeed reyes gave jones a hell of a fight.
He doesmt cope too well against a good puncher who also has that ape index.
The reyes fight was a draw at best or even a win for reyes.
Arguably a win for reyes.
@@hansneggs nope he's much more well-rounded than Conor McGregor...
This guy is an enjoyable fighter to watch and no boring heavyweight fights when he enters the octagon. Fans get their money's worth.
I love Sergeis 1 - 2. Also known as a twenty punch combo.
His stand up is one of the best I've seen in recent memory
This guy is the real deal, very impressive
His predatory skills are second to none he knows the most effective strikes to throw as his opponent’s are covering up - a natural finisher
They're second to the Predator.
So proud of you bro! I'm going on 50 and you inspire me to be healthy and do it the right way!!!
Can’t wait, it’s so good that we gonna see Pavlovich knocking out Blades this evening…
His reach allows him to loop around with those blows. Even when his opponent has their guard up. He can throw 'em.
Longest arms in fighting history...just reaches past everyone and punches them straight in the back of the head!! Does this sound stupid to anyone else??
Thanks for the video! Now you have one more fight to add to this list.
His overhand right is extremely effective! The rate of heavy strikes seems to overwhelm most defenses!
Yea I was going to say when he gets going even if your defending the hits properly, its still too much for most.
He has very much potential.
He has the perfect height with a "natural" weight close to the weight class limit. He also has a ridiculous reach and a very good eye for finding the best openings.
The biggest threat for his career is actually his early success. Because plenty of fighters who start out like this tend to develop one-trick-pony-syndrome and waste years of their lives not properly improving themselves, since everything is "working out well" until it stops working and they became to inflexible to adapt. Let's hope he is not like that.
He would stream-roll Overeem now.. he was inexperienced at the time... They wasted 2 years of this incredibly powerful beast..He will be HW champ soon or later. He is powerful, precise and respectful.
I beg to differ. Had they met again in 2020 at least, Alistair Overeem would have finished him still
@@George18798 lol..Overeem was always overrated!
@@Eleo828 lol nah. If either of them was overrated, it is Sergei Pavlovich
typical of you deniers @@George18798
Explosive like a 160 lbs fighter with extra 100 lbs of torque!
I was never a big fanatic of the fights above 200 lbs, but this one is enjoyable to watch.
The overhand right to the back of the head is deadly. He won at least 3 fights with it, just in this video.
@@ilprimomiracolo bro how do you punch someone in the back in the head face to face unless the other fighter spins? oh i'll just win every fight by turning my head to DQ opponent with your logic
@@flowmastaflam Yup, exactly how Floyd won a bunch of fights. That and having Kenny Bayless as ref.
@il primo miracolo its not illegal if the opponent turns his head or looks down at the very last second.. like the case here
Yeah and they were all unintentional
I noticed that too. There's a reason why its not legal. Its weird has a strange twist to his punch almost like a hook looking for that back of the head spot.
What a badass! Can't wait to see more
Very exciting to watch. I hope he stays healthy and winning!
Massive power and such precision, but I didn't expect him to last long in the bout with Overeem. That guy is something else
@@Kierant2010 yeah. He was on peds ever since his weight gain and move up back in Strike Force.
@SaraPregnolato Like everyone else including Sergei
@SaraPregnolato laughable
@SaraPregnolato that's even funnier
Good stuff bro, keep it up.
He move fast. Incredible!🔥🔥
They tried to use Overeem as a stepping stone but it failed 😂
guess he still had some of those mexican supplements saved up for a rainy day 😂
Curtis and ngannou never got overeem as their debut lol so experience matters
Veterans are tough
Sergei stepped in short notice for the Overeem fight. I wonder how things would have played out if he had a full training camp
PED's
SLAVIC POWER💪🙋🇲🇰🇲🇰🇲🇰
Good God this guy hits like a tank. That over hand right at 5:21 was DEVASTATING.
Also, he shows restraint. He could’ve kept punching that guy after he knocked him out, but he stopped. Looks like he’s also a good sport, as well as a human wrecking Ball.
I watched him in the bladez fight! I was impressed but, after watching the highlights, Jon's got nothing to be worried about in the heavyweight division!
I hope he makes it to Champ. Has the heart and skills to do it.
Slot of punches to the back of the head? But his precision against some insane strikers is nutty. He's deadly.

"Where Roudy Rousey Fine Ass At???"😂😂😂😂
The Black Beast Got Me Dying Out Here😂😂😂😅😅
I Wonder What Travis Browne Was Thinking When Derrick Called His Wife Out???😂😂🤯🤯🤯😂😂
This man's got some nice precision, speed and power for such a heavy dude.. he's good at throwing flurries of combos and has meannnn overhands when he needs too.. something super intimidating about a composed Russian beast 🤣☠️
He strikes like a slightly more controlled Fedor. I wonder what it is about those big looping overhead punches to the side of the head that get through everyone's defenses so well.
These combat sambo guys are gonna take over the entire sport. Total badasses.
Ive been watching these fights since they started in the octagon back in the day. Im am surprised how much pavlouich gets away with hitting his opponents as often as he does behind the head that seems to be a major impact to his advantage. He is a great fighter and he has the power but they need to regulate his fights a lot more stricter . I look forward to watching his career and a lot of his fights.
They don't let him get away with it. He is throwing a perfectly legal overhand right and the opponent is misjudging the punch and turning away from it causing it to land to the back of the head. Nothing illegal about it, just a mistake by the opponent.
Always has his eye on target even on furious exchanges.
Questo ragazzone mi piace è forte e non fà scorrettezze 👏👏💪💪
Speedest hands in UFC HW division and insane power. I think he beast Curtis 100% !
