Ok pause because I feel like all the guys were more shocked by Bruno Mars appearance than ROSÉ’s which makes me a little upset because this is the first time since 2019 MAMAS that any BLACKPINK members have been sighted at one. Especially after how they were treated. Maybe it’s because they’re young so they don’t know the history but it’s BECAUSE of Rosé that Bruno Mars is even there so they should be more in awe of gracing not just ONE legends presence but TWO legends. Don’t get me wrong I love their reactions but I’m kinda disappointed that there wasn’t more of it towards ROSÉ.

That man is an icon in every sense of the word, so for HIM to be there in flesh that too at a Korean award show is what is so surprising as he apparently changed his schedules and plans just so he could attend this event as Rosè invited him personally. Rosè needs kpop and her kpop fanbase to thrive in the industry as she's still starting out as a solist and u telling that she didn't have to come is very wrong and delusional. Bruno, on the other hand, doesn't have to be there but is still there because of Rosè. He literally has 15 Grammy's already and he's still attending such a minor award show. That tells u how much humility he has. The idols are definitely in their right to be in awe of someone so legendary as Bruno Mars. When else will they get to see him that close?
Bruno had a residency in Tokyo in January to the toon or 5 sold out nights at the Tokyo Dome, one of the largest venues on the planet. He has been listed as an idol to many of those performers in that room. BTS in 2017 and 2021 were salivating over his performances at the Grammys. Trying to compare this young ladies résumé to his and saying they’re equals is ridiculous. She is definitely his junior she is totally indebted to him for taking this song on. If not for him, the song would’ve been dumped. Moreover, she signed with his label at the end of September mentioned she wanted to work with him ,sent him a song a week later he recorded it a week after that they released it, a month after that they’re at this award show. Who is indebted to who? Not to mention he was already on the charts with Lady Gaga, and was nominated for a Grammy. In fact, the number one song they replaced was his number one song with Lady Gaga.

I just felt there should have been a little more love towards Rosé because the song was her idea in the first place. Getting to work with Bruno was huge for her yes especially with him being listed as an idol but I personally think she should be just as admired as he is. I wasn’t making any claims that Bruno was indebted to Rosé just that I was sad that some of my favorite Kpop groups were so floored with Bruno that they barely noticed that she was there.
