I was the lucky winner of the Scriveiner EDC give away (mine has the antique brass finish); I agree with everything Stephen says about Scriveiner pens - smooth nib, just the right wetness, converter included, comfortable grip, etc.
I have three. Black Laquer, Blue, Silver. They are great pets. I had minor issue with one , the cap fit to barrel was loose. Once I had pen clipped in my shirt pocket, and next think I knew, cap came loose and pen fell out from my pocket. I contacted factory about this issue. They immediately sent me replacement pen. One small detail I have noticed is nibs don't have a bleeder hole, and when ink convertor is partially emptied, the pen becomes airlock. I open the barrel and with nib pointing up, j moved the piston up until I can just see ink at the nib.
A heartfelt thank you Dr. Brown, for your expert review of the Scriveiner fountain pen! We're so delighted to have our pen featured on your channel again ❤
Very sad...the Golden Scriveiner Is not offered with the B nib, only F and M. 😢 If i want the B nib, i have to buy the silver one... That's not fair. Very bad Scriveiner, very bad
Thanks for the review. When viewed strictly as a FP, I tended to think the price high as a China made pen compared to FP's bought directly from China (like HongDian etc) but when you mentioned several times using it as a pocket pen and the competitor is then, say, the Kaweco Sport brass ...well, that's a horse of a different color! Add in the full converter and now I'm tempted!
Can I pose you a question for an upcoming surgery please? I've noticed that in just one of my demonstrator pens - Jinhao 9019 (I have four different makes / models in total) I'm getting condensation building up in the barrel. I'm using a quality Diamine ink. Should I be concerned and what is the cause? Thank you, Nick

Most definitely a company to keep an eye on.
Thank you for yet another wonderful video.
I just bought one yesterday, and I have not one complaint. Will explore other FPs they make.

I believe it is called a breather hole.
Thankyou for clarification. I still don't understand how the ink can flow to nib since there is not any breather hole evident.

I have 16 Scrivener Pens getting hurt got me into Stationary.
Nice design but it's the kind of pen you have to clean every time after use in order to keep it nice and sheen.
