All I’ve heard is that this movie was good Of all companies, Disney made a good horror film! This was also the director’s blockbuster film debut- credit to her and hope this movie makes bank
With good reviews it should easily make + 150 mio. Decent horror flicks only happen a few times a year at best and the genre has such a loyal global fanbase.
@@Amp661 literally no one cares about the OG Omen. That franchise has been dead for decades. All us genre fans look out for are decent horror films, cause they are rare to come by.

Very happy with this review- the omen is one of my fathers favorite horror films (maybe films in general) so he's been very excited to check this out with me
@@Isaacthebiggestmoviefan57 because it screwed up a key element that made Damiens birth disturbing. It was the very bastsrdization of christ birth that made omen 76 not to sit right. In this it's the complete opposite of what was stated for over 50 years, not to mention Father Brennan literally said his mother was a jackal AND finding the jackal skeleton in Cerveteri. I will never understand why people are.ok with changing something that was best left alone.

The best part about all of this to me is this is made by Disney, and it's Disney's first theatrical release is 2024. I'm glad it's great. Can't wait to check it out.

interesting, the first one I liked. I was about THIS close to renting that animated spiderman movie for $3.99 but it was too late in the night. I would've rather seen godzilla minus one but its not on there, would of rather rather seen boy and the heron but its not on there
This looks like the usual, modern horror movie, way over the top stylized imagery and overly cooked performances. Whereas the original builds and builds, on the palpable bad situation the Gregory Peck character- Robert Thorn was in. As he pieces together the horrific truth about the child he secretly adopted.
These type of movies get pretty repetitive after awhile. The only movie that I’m excited to watch in this type of genre is the conjuring 4 since James wan is back to direct it. Wish he Director the conjuring 3 would’ve called it the greatest horror trilogy lol
@@Amp661 that’s literally what I said. The conjuring is different because James wan knows how to direct horror really well. He’s good at building up tension and knows when to use jumpscares.
James Wan is a decent horror director but even Conjuring 1 and 2 started to get boring and laughable in their final acts. The best movie out of the Conjuring franchise surprisingly is Annabelle 2.
