Great reaction Niala🥰and yes the game and this episode follows true more or less in parallel with each other. A few small changes from the game but overall missing nothing. Love the acting from Ramsey in the last few episodes, it seems like she put her big girl pants on and is absolutely CRUSHING it!

The Riley story was actually a DLC (downloadable content) in the game. Not really part of the main stream story but a great add on for gamers.
this show is all about people and relations between people so very natural is gonna hit you in the feels, its done from episode 1 and it is not gonna let up anytime soon :D

The Arcade in game didn’t work, there is a beautiful scene where Riley tells Ellie to close her eyes and press the buttons while she narrates the action in the game, and you see Ellie imagining the gameplay

True, I like the game version better, but game Ellie and the show Ellie's are kind of different, so I understand why it's gotta be different as well. Different medium. In the game, we play as Ellie and we were involved in everything she does (apart from cutscenes) so the scene like that also provokes our imagination, while for the show, we are passively watching it, so having that game's version wouldn't affect viewers very much as we are not engaging...so having a more active and visual scene in the show makes more sense.
Whenever I watch you react to the show, all I can think is oh sweet summer child you are too good for this world❤❤❤
This episode and episode 3 got blasted/spammed with 1 star reviews with a bunch of homophobic fans. idk how they're "fans" though since this was all clear in the game lol. Sad we're still at a point in society where gay/lesbian scenes are still disliked.
Even E1 had people saying Sarah was a terrible character because she stole money from Joel, to fix his watch for him.
We know what they were really upset about. They said she hated elderly people because of the dialog in the morning. As if Joel was actively trying to avoid engaging with them also. The difference is Sarah actually took the time. Joel just gave an underaged girl alcohol in E6, none of these people were waving around their moral righteousness about that.

Another change from the game was the pictures didn't turn out at all. They were all blank. A nice change to give Ellie her last happy memory before it all want terribly
