Thank you for these videos, keep it up. Love to see them. Bringing back some fire into me to want to continue with Cyber Security, even if it is without college.
I’m 23 bro and I feel EXACTLY what you’re saying I dropped out of college like 3 times. Once cybersecurity, that professor was just rambling on about life and I didn’t learn a thing, 2nd time was for automotives before covid shut us down, and 3rd time was online for cybersecurity and it’s not that I failed or anything but one minor inconvenience has caused me a lot of time wasted. I’ve just been studying using professors messers videos for anything comptia certs, anon ali, zsecurity, David bombal, and networkchuck for the actual hacking. I even spent about $100 for zsecurity complete beginner ethical hackers course and I’ve learned so much more on that course because it’s so hands on. At the current moment I’m studying for my Comptia Sec+, but it’s been on and off since I work full time but I’m about to go part time. I’ll let you know how everything is! But trust me college won’t teach you a darn thing about cybersecurity.

There's the thing with challenges. Try to think that as a game and you're particularly interested in the game that you're playing. For example one of the most technical genres is fighting games. Which move has the least frames in the framedata, or if the block can give you positive framedata for punishment or your opponent with your particular character. This means, that you can be better at fighting games. The same thing with hacking. Ethical hacking(with proper permission or doing it on your own devices) can be treated as a game in the same sense that it's very technical. Try it and see it for yourself.

I agree with everything on this besides the last one of NetworkChuck's video. Nothing against him, his videos helped me study for the CCNA and I like a good amount of his content when he's not shilling some product 😅. He has little to no experience being an ethical hacker though and doesn't have the certs he recommends in that video.
