Got interested in hacking recently. It’s so funny that my roadmap right now is getting my A+, then getting a CCNA in the spring with classes, and also wanting to learn Linux, and Azure after. This is basically everything I’ve planned out as my roadmap. Just lines right up with all my interests so it goes to show I’m on the right path. Great video.
Excellent, but definitely make sure that you learn one programming language, mostly Python, and the various concepts that exist in programming. It will definitely be a huge help.
Sir, you're a very thorough and effective presenter! I began my journey into Cybersecurity targeting Ethical Hacking for a second career this past year. I'm actively using some of the training platforms you've mentioned in your presentation. I generally am not a "leave comments" person but in your case, I hit the thumbs up, became a subscriber, and definitely leaving a comment thanking you for an OUTSTANDING ROADMAP!!! I truly sure wish you were my Hacker (FTO) Field Training Officer!!!! Stay safe!
Excellent roadmap. Tried to figure out all the resources for each step you described on my own recently and it was really difficult. This is the ideal starting point.
Thank you, man❤❤⚘⚘. There is a UA-camr who says that we should master programming, meaning that we should create several applications, such as websites and applications for phones. Is this true? I think it's exaggerated.
Your method is good for complete beginners with no IT background. However, i find it boring learning theory, so i get my hands on practical certs, and it's is so much fun.
Sir can you please make a video about the selection process in cybersecurity jobs. Means what is the process I have to go through to land on a cybersecurity based jobs roles, either it is networking based or web app security based or any other type of job in cybersecurity field. and Cybrary is also a good place to learn security and networking.
i thought i had subscribed weeks ago, couldnt remember the name of the channel and could NOT find it in my history with the amount of auto plays my wife leaves on. THANKFULLY this showed up so I can subscribe again lol. Thanks man, your informations is extremely helpful.
I wouldn't say Professor Messer is "Dry" he just explains things simply put and some people learn that way. I personally hate when a teacher/professor goes off on a tangent to make a joke or tell me about a personal experience that ends up being a joke (CBT Nuggets does this so much). Great recommendations though and this was very easy to follow!
thanks man this is by farr the best video ive seen thanks i will do a monthly checkup and let you guys know how im doing and how its going im going to start tmr morning bye and thanks.
I am a web developer, I know JavaScript and a little bit of C and Python. I also have knowledge of Computer Science. Currently, I am learning Networking at Cisco, SkillsForAll and I think in 6 days I will complete the course. My next plan is to jump to learn Linux. During the process, is it possible for me to get a job as a Junior Ethical Hacking? Or do I need to really understand Linux fundamentals before applying job? Btw, your content is very good, and sorry for my grammar, I am not a native English speaker.
Thank you so much! I’ve been wanting to learn ethical hacking, but I didn’t know where to start. Ever since I learned all the shit black hat hackers get up to… I want to counter them and protect people from them.
I’ve been working on Sec+ for years now, but my unit doesn’t have the time to send any 25Us to the schoolhouse for the certification. My plan was Sec+, Net+, Google cybersecurity cert, IBM project management (to let my mind rest a bit), CySA+, CEH v12 (the current CEH). Currently I have, the Google, IBM, and have already been enrolled into CYsA and CEH. Holy cow do I regret not hitting Net+, so I may go out of pocket for Net+ before even finishing CEH or CYsA+ Ive been using a version of red hat Linux for a while now, I like Linux a bit, but I also like windows 😭
Thank you! Thank you!! I'm all ready using try hack me and trying to coordinate everything else I want to learn each day- a little bit each day. THANK YOU for all the links!! I've saved this video link for further future reference for when I get to my next steps. Awesome video and info! ❤
16$ is 2 meal of mc donald for you but 14 meals worth of money for me lol. anyways great roadmap I skip the network entirely and skip to basic of security in picoCTF and struggling to understand some concept after watching this I should go back to learning concept. great video!
Thank you for actually showing us resources to learn each area instead of just telling us what to learn
This is possibly the most well explained roadmap videos I have seen to date.
the cyber mentor's one is also good, its packed full of resources like this vid with a clear roadmap

Thank you, man❤❤⚘⚘. There is a UA-camr who says that we should master programming, meaning that we should create several applications, such as websites and applications for phones. Is this true? I think it's exaggerated.
100% exaggerated
you can literally hack without having to code unless you want to create a malware that's where a programing language will come helpful
