By organically I think you mean through free range. No,improved is more of a genetic make up than what they consume. An improved breed is a mixed breed. If you would like to eventually have pure breeds, ensure you crossbreed all your forthcoming generations with pure breeds until the fourth or fifth breed. Then you will have a breed that is more pure than improved.
Egg shell colour and egg yolk colour are determined by two different things. The colour of egg yolk is determined by the diet.Natural diets of yellow maize, marigold flowers, among other green plants will make the yolk orange or yellow coloured. If you use white maize for making chicken feed the yolk colour will not have the yellow or orange colour. The colour is due to substances known as carotenoids present in some plants. Egg shell colour on the other hand is determined by genetics. There are chickens that will lay eggs with shell colours such as brown, white, blue, green and chocolate colour.
@@abdikafarabdullahi603 I would recommend you start with improved kienyeji. I do croilers and they haven't disappointed. They lay big eggs and more frequently as long as you feed them well.

What would be anyone looking for a pure kienyeji be doing in the market in the first place? If you go looking for a pure kienyeji in the market you will definitely be returning home with the improved version
If you know the characteristics to look out for then without a doubt you will get pure kienyeji. Pure kienyeji chicken are more nutritious than improved kienyeji.
