One of the best videos I've seen in quite awhile. Impressed by the fact that fish survived after that battle. Most don't revive that quick. Tight lines.
I’m camping at the Russian at this very moment. We filled our freezer in Seward this spring so we’re just relaxing here this year, but I’m seeing a lot of fish on stringers returning to camp. Today is rainy and windy plus the campground emptied yesterday. So not many walking fishing reports today. Weather report for tomorrow - same as today. Good luck!!
@user-cm4uy9bu4s thanks for the update, it's my first time fishing alaska so ill be looking up in the Russian River and at the confluence kenai/Russian River
@@rafaeltellez8332 It’s not difficult at all. Find other people and watch. Flossing (the snagging technique used) is easy to pick up. There’s no talent needed. Just a hook and a weight with 2’ of line between them. When the line floats into its mouth and the weight pulls the hook to the mouth, you’ll feel it. Set the hook and fire up the BBQ!
🔥 video! Looks like y’all had a great vacation! We need to tell John instead of bonking it to just clip the gills. It’s better tasting and cleaning em. I do enjoy watching y’all beat on em tho🤣
He’s the one that stays up there for 3 months during summer and then invites all his buddies to stay different weeks! So I just happened to be the first up there and to make some videos, but as the weeks go the more videos you’ll see with him in it from our other buddies!
I have been enjoying the hell out of your videos as well as your buddies. One thing that makes me cringe is when I see folks fighting fish with out glasses on. A fish hook in the hand or face is no fun…one in the eye can be life altering. Please be careful and keep making cool videos.

Beautiful fish, great job you all! I'm heading up from California at the end of the month, I can't wait.
You’re going to have a blast!
Awesome isn't?! ...I want to get set up again, and go back out there.
Absolutely, what a blast 😃
Great action!! Thanks for sharing your day!!
Thank you!!

Should still be a pretty decent bite! But the Kenai should be picking up any day now!

Get out there with BW and Sam! Gods Grace!
I wish! I headed home as soon as Luke got there! Maybe next year!

Good stuff but you all should really wear eye protection....big hooks and weights under a lot of pressure can do a lot of damage.
