Bravo pally. and no shame in summons. loved the infinity stones quest xD. I would say only thing you didn't use is you have a spell called terra magica. that boosts all your magic damage if you stand in the circle. might have been useful, but you got it done and that's what matters. now ON TO THE DLC
Mad props to the twitch chat, and to Walter for editing down all that unglamorous grinding. I don't know if I'd have the patience to watch this unedited, but the result is undeniably cool!
To stop partial parries from eating your entire stamina bar the answer is to get a better shield and upgrade it to max. Parrying with Carian Retaliation works exactly the same regardless of the type of shield it is on, so the only reason to use the buckler is weight. As your heading into the DLC I would recommend the Messmer Soldier Shield. It fits the Tall Dungen aesthetic and is easy to farm with the Silver Scarab talisman. edit: Be sure to use the standard upgrade path. Hope this helps :)
Tiche is the MVP for this fight. The boss itself is not hard, the waterfall bs is... So the better way to fight bs is with another bs ( busted summon). I'm at the exact same spot as you are in the game, making my way to the dlc right now! Keep it up 💪
Waterfowl btw. Maybe it was just a typo. It's about birds that live near water. Some of my favorite UA-camrs call it the "Ducky dance" for that very reason.
If summons are a thing you can use and they get the job done without using hacks or whatever, they're good in my book :) (never played this game in my life)
Mfpallytime it doesn't matter how many items are on your main bar or where your at in the cycle holding down on the d-pad takes you to slot one it was even like that in ds1
After spending literally 8 hours on a boss I think the summon can definitely be justified. GG. Excited for the DLC. Also I didn't know Ranni's Dark Moon ate sorceries, so that's a fun thing to learn.
Recently I watched streamer fighting final boss of DLC for almost 58 hours with no summons, dying 1992 times on level 1, no summons, no dlc upgrades. That is fun.
Summons are in the game, so why not use them? That being said you could have done this fight solo if you used some actual armor instead of the trash that is black knife set. Waterfowl is interruptible with just 1 frost pot. If you had a better intelligence ash of war like the moonveil you could have easily cleared her with shard of alexander.

these last two episodes have been peak, lovin this dlc
“If u r upset that I used the summon… revaluate your life” 😂😂😂 Tall “no shame” Dungan 4 life!

If the creator of the game uses summons to play and design it that way, who am I to judge? Great job man
Alexanders Nephew is the cutest jar…jarlet.
The whole jar storyline is just so wholesome.
I'm super hype for Pally to get into the DLC, I really want to know his thoughts - can't wait!
Nice job!!! So excited for the DLC!
Congrats, Pally! It turned out to be about the assassins we made along the way.
I had to use Tische to beat her too. There's no shame in using summons for Malenia.
Really liked the cut from you yelling FUUU, lol. Love the videos Pally.
Perfection. "You're [intelligence]... extraordinary."

41:00 800 hours never seen him swimming the air, that was hilarious!!!
Oh pally. You can stand on the rocks (where you don’t take damage) and talk to Alexander.
It’s good that the DLC bosses finally know defeat!
When I beat Melenia on my Sorcery playthrough I used Ancient Death Rancorcall. It's got long range and it can stagger with enough hits.
Pally searching for wise dogs in my third favorite entertainment :D
30:15 feels like a dragon ball episode lmao
love that ending, well said ;)
go pally go! the moon prince tall dumken
Floating Turtles?
I've seen it all now
You can just sprint away from watter
fowl if you get cought off guard.. at least the first two combos. Then turn ariund and dodge into her.
Way to do it Pally.
Come on .... Get up...😢😢😢😭😭😭😭..... I'm not crying 😢😢

Speaking of summons, is there a mod that lets you keep them out everywhere you go? I've always wanted to run some sort of summoner build.
🎉🎉🎉congratz!
Alexander, even if you were a crock, why would that be so bad? People love crock pots.
"He's taking dead bodies and stuffing them inside"
yeah...about that...

There is no shame in using summons. This game has tools for people to use
Watching Pally fail to dodge into Waterfowl Dance over and over and over again is crushing.
First try.
I love Elden Ring. But i am not looking forward to this boss.. 😂
