R.I.P. to John “Ecstasy” Fletcher another hip hop legend has fallen my father had the pleasure of meeting him along with Jalil Hutchins and Drew “Grandmaster Dee” back in the Disco Fever in the Bronx NY man 2020 has been a terrible year for people falling down to this madness he will greatly be missed thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to the rap game.
Whodini never gets talked about with the legends. They were the bridge between Melle Mel and RUN DMC in terms of era’s. They made some really dope shit that knocks right now. BTW:Jalil is the grandfather of off-beat rapping!
Mr. Majic was on late nights on WHBI 105.9 Newark, NJ in very early 1980's... He used to play stuff before it was released. THE NEXT DAY it was usually released in this huge awesome record store in Times Square.
This is a CLASSIC!!!! You have a gem my friend!!! I’ve never seen this but glad I did. Oh yes it’s Grandmaster Dee! 1/2 of UTFO, Kangol Kid and Doctor Ice. Kangol was a dope dancer.
......just had to look this up because I'm reading Thomas Dolby's autobiography. Yes, he wrote all the synth parts & shipped it off to America for Whodini to finish w/their raps!
Nice upload very rare....One of the initial art of scratching. RIP John "Ecstasy" Fletcher . Thanks to DJ DNice- Shaq-Kenny Smith-Charles Barkley who put together money to pay for his funeral.

Wow. What a find. Thanks for sharing.
This song was produced by Thomas Dolby from "She Blinded Me With Science" fame
That is correct me. Mr. Stevens
He produced most of Whodini's early stuff...
No shit Sherlock
He only produced this song and The Haunted House of Rock
Thomas Dolbys sound is unmistakable back then.
