The RS6 is hands down the pinical of cars today. Imagine being able to scoop up the family from the school run, chuck all the stuff and the dog in the boot, and start cursing through town, and then unleash undiluted raw power down through that awesome dad waggon. James, you had my respect, but now, even more so - top choice made dude😍
BMW M3 Touring does it equally as well, it really depends whether you want a V8 or I6, I'm glad both of those super wagons exist. Good on you James.

Congrats James - I remember you from Hartpury College days! I totally respect the grind mate, enjoy!! I've had an RS6 Performance C7 for 5 years now.... absolute beast, performance meets practicality indeed. Looking to move into a C8 next year hopefully.
I’m 37 and just bought my first ever car last year after moving out of a major city where I never needed one. I barely knew how to drive only 6 months ago and am now taking weekend road trips with my wife almost every week. Can’t describe how much joy the car has brought me and how much I love to drive. I literally look forward to it all week lol. I think it’s just something I never experienced before and never realized the freedom it allows. The two best things I ever bought in my life to date are my road bike and my car. I don’t own a house yet and hope to some day but I’m pretty sure that won’t bring me near as much joy as these things.

Well done James. I'm a Briit in Sydney for 14 years. Nice cars here are under used. I miss the British B roads and hate the Aus speed limits. My porsche spends it's life doing 60kph. Luckily I have a 993 in the UK and fly back once a year to blast around the UK.

Every man should buy their dream car at some point in their life, despite most of the time it being a poor financial decision, I just can't see myself going through this life having not experienced owning my dream car! Congrats on the rs6!

RS6 is probably the worlds most wanted car. It just has it all, looks, power, comfort, space... it beats other super cars on the quarter mile with 3 kids inside, and a dog sleeping in the back. Crazy, real German masterpiece.

They don't sell that model in Canada. For some reason sport wagons just never took off here. Now looking for a pickup truck, we have some choices. At this point a nicely appointed pickup is over $100K. I would barely get to the end of my road and a low slung sport vehicle would be absent its exhaust system.
If something makes you happy and brings you joy then its not a bad financial decision.
