Hey Josh just wanted to let you know I love this setup...simple and easy to make and use. I used 1/4" threaded steel rod instead of plastic ties to keep clamps from sliding...
Brian Jones Ah, thank you so much! I was thinking if I made another one I'd want something better than the zip ties. Using threaded rod was really smart!
SharpshooterJD thanks! I also drilled multiple holes for adjustability but don't think I needed to...I also stole your backstop now that I think of it...
Set your work piece on the drill press table so that if it rotates, it bumps against the backstop. Yeah, this is low risk work here, but later when you're drilling metal, it will matter a lot. Mistakes can get messy.
Do the math n make one cut instead of two! FYI you're using file wrong. They're meant to be used on a push away stroke. Pulling file dulls it, as it rolls over cut edges.
Very simple yet effective thank you
Looks like something I can make and I think I will. "Thanks for the idea and the "How-To" video", Jim
+James Payne That's awesome! You are very welcome, and I am so glad I could help!

Brian Jones Nice! Yeah I did too, and I never really used the second set of holes. Haha, that's great! At least someone is benefiting from it :D.
SharpshooterJD I love all your videos...keep them up! Great ideas and all are easy to make.

+mike sipes You are very welcome! Glad I could help!
Hi Josh, What size are the clamps? I think they are 4 or 6 inch. Thanks very much!
Keep up the great work and ideas.
+James Payne I will do my best!
Thank you.....
This is like the only how to jig on UA-cam
Yeah there aren't too many videos on it, that's one reason I did it :).
That's great, gonna MAKE mine tomorrow. Thank you for your help.
Awesome tutorial. I'm still doubting about using this design or using toggle clamps. Decisions, decisions.
Thanks so much! I have seen both, but have only tried these. It's probably personal preference. Good luck!
Thankyou alot.

Why didn’t you just mark for the holes in such a way that you only had to cut the board once?
Cause I'm dumb? IDK, this was like 4 years ago lol. Take it with a grain of salt.
