America's children of today are into rap and basement crap with no melody. In the music world today, it is all about who you know, who has the cash and how much they can make. AJ has style, class and an unbelievable talent, which you don't need in today's music scene but she will do it on her own merits. I love her voice and individual talent.
She is already, at 15 years old, beyond the charts. Too talented, too classy and too respectable.

There are far too many "nine day wonders" in the industry, churning out meaningless songs and relying upon their sexuality and profane or meaningless lyrics to satisfy the listening public, who have come to accept that mediocrity as talent.
MJ is one of those "untouchable" artists that few have the skills (or even courage) to take on. That never seems to be a concern for Angelina. She takes on some of the greatest artists in history and somehow always manages to honor them in her own special way. She never tries to outdo the original. She only takes what they have written and sung, and puts her own unique interpretation on it. She said years ago that one of her goals was to take old songs and make them new again to introduce them to the next generation. She does this better than anyone I have ever heard.

Great reaction, always have to smile. Angelina is beyond comprehension....I know this song for 40 years, have danced to it at many parties in my youth, and for the first time paid attention to the lyrics now - this is what Angelina does. Simply stunning.
Don’t take this the wrong way, but I didn’t think it was possible for you guys to be basically stunned into silence for an entire song. Yes, Angelina is the best. For me, not just the best around today, but the best I’ve ever heard. I think she’s not on top of the charts because her appeal is to people who appreciate music and amazing vocal talent-not to a mass audience that favors whatever pop music is selling at the time. Billie Jean shows us Angelina’s really unique musicality, her effortlessness going outside the lines, and her once in a lifetime voice. For me, she is already legendary at 15 years old.

Well put. She will sing for the world and initially the world will not understand as they will have to rid their minds of the rubbish they have listened to for so many years. Those who understand from the beginning - her "Angels" - will gradually convert the others, and Angelina will then be where she deserves to be.
Ladies thanks for another great reaction to Angelina Jordan. Although she is signed with Republic Records, her family requested Angelina be allowed as normal a childhood as possible so Republic has not promoted her yet. Have to believe Angelina's family is doing the right thing since she won't turn 16 until January 10th. Some of us angels have begun a campaign encouraging reactors to take some simple steps to show love to the artists they react to. Here is our message which dozens of reaction channels have already begun to follow.
Thank you for your enjoyable reaction. As subscribers, and as advocates for aspiring singers and other artists, we are in process of developing a community of reactors who abide by specific guidelines. The purpose is to:
1. More actively support the artists' careers.
2. Increase fan loyalty and subscriptions to your own channel.
3. Most importantly, to be proactive in appeasing record labels in the hope that copyrights may be relaxed. Some record labels are displeased with reactor support.
Following is an outline of steps many reaction channels have already undertaken to address these goals.
1. Provide a link to the artist original video.
2. Provide a link to the artist official channel.
3. Provide links to artist social media if applicable.
4. Verbally encourage viewers to watch the original video and subscribe to the artist official channel. Ideally, this should be done at the beginning and also the end of your video, along with highlighting your channel information as desired.
5. Potentially utilize a text box or scrolling tape, with links, to encourage viewers to fully support the artist. This would be visible during all or part of the reaction.
We encourage you to implement these steps, incorporating your own unique style, in order that we may invite you to become part of this supportive community for UA-cam artists.

The wonder of our time, Angelina, who else can make an MJ classic into another jazzy classic but her? Wonderful reaction daughter and mother, very entertaining, thumbs up ladies.

You mentioned about how you could imagine Angelina live on a big stage.
Back before Covid Angelina was a regular live performer (usually only during school holidays), often in front of big audiences. She has been there and done that.
Her uncle/manager directed the video...same for the "Yesterday" Beatles vid.
For me this version is pure gold and AJA will be one of the greatest voices in music history.

To quote another commenter from some past video, "Angelina has introduced me to music I otherwise would have never heard." Of course I'd heard this because it was all over the airwaves back in the day, but it is much the same as the Beatles music, in that I never listened to a lot of their stuff or Michaels, but this young lady's versions has me being a fan of their songs. (check out her Beatles cover of 'Yesterday') Her Adele covers are her originals as far as I'm concerned, because I never heard them until she sang them. Much like the two of you, I adore this young lady, and hope I have many years left to enjoy her music.

I think Angelina's performance of this is masterful. She is so good she makes a song I'm indifferent to and makes it beautiful. And as for AJ and MJ making a good couple . . . Um, no!.
The video was produced by her uncle/manager Michael Astar. But my hunch is that Angelina is the Director of this Masterpiece. She is certainly the arranger of this jazzy MJ cover. It's very refreshing to see how much you appreciate the Incredible Talent of this prodigy. But if you look at who is "charting", i.e., Justin Bieber, et.al., it's very unlikely that the same people who like them will like Angelina. I'm not really sure what the Justin Bieber draw is, but it's certainly not even close to what pulls us to Angelina. I'm really not sure she will ever be a Billboard charter. Her niche is a bit too esoteric for that type of fame, especially in the U.S.A. Worldwide, I think she will be better appreciated. Angelina has that magical ability to take a well known song & make it into her own unique masterpiece. More recommendations: Back To Black & I'm Still Holding Out For You (both at age 10), numerous acoustic covers such as California Dreaming, Stay, A Million Years Ago & Make You Feel My Love & then just Angelina & her piano on Wicked Game (recommend the Sune AMtoft video that actually shows her playing the piano track) - all ~ age 12. I try to suggest multiple songs in the hope that there might be one or two that pique their interest. I know for me that the more I hear of Angelina's magical musical talent, the more I want to hear. I believe her music is truly nurturing our humanity & our souls. And as more & more reactors are encouraged to spread her music to their own unique listeners, we're all helping to spread Angelina's magic. Hello from the USA Ladies. Your reaction to our Barefoot Princess was priceless! The king of POP met the QUEEN OF JAZZ and she conquered one of his best known songs making it totally her own, in own unique style . The Barefoot Princess turned this pop hit into an instant Jazz classic. Nobody does it better than Angelina. If you haven't already done so check out her cover of the Beatles , Yesterday. Angelina , with her superb vocals in my opinion greatly improved on how it was done originally !!

Yet another great reaction - there are no words to describe art of this level, but mother is teasing out the nuances the make this so special. For the first time I got to hear the actual story, with MJ there is too much distraction with the fancy footwork, AJ just dances with the vocals. Such depth and richness, so intimate, she draws us in and transports us to that special world where she resides whilst singing...

Yes the video was directed by her uncle Michael, the idea is to not have too much distraction, they come from an artistic family, Michael's mother, Angelina's grandmother is Mery Zamani, a famous Iranian artist (she designed some of Angelina's outfits, especially the trouser suit she wore at AGT the Champions.) By the way it's Michaels's birthday today (or was it yesterday?) - what a Segway the other song at the same recording studio is Yesterday by Paul McCartney...

Angelina's Grandmother was a very brilliant person and passed on to Angelina's mother to ensure Angelina finishes school before stardom this was for two reasons, the first was to complete her education and to have a normal childhood upbringing, the second was to allow Angelina the time to discover who she is and the path/direction she wants to take her music career thus Angelina's mother only allows for a few recordings a year and a few public appearances other than that Angelina does her own thing on mainly TikTok, UA-cam, and Facebook in her spare time. One day she will hit the big time but for now, it's all about growing up and getting a good education.

I am not so sure AJ will ever be a charts-beater. Current pop music is K-pop and stuff trending randomly. Even cinema is now rated as "first-weekend box office results". It is only a decade ago that movies were rated based on their long-term stayer ability, right? I am so old that I remember Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon staying on the charts for decades.
We are now on the internet, causing charts and popularity to change by the minute. So AJ will never top charts (for more than a minute)- but she compensates by being in the long game. By not being a firefly.

She has been mentored by so many iconic singers starting with the old school jazz tops of Billie, Etta, Ella, and so many since them. She incorporates them into her own style and sound and the result is mesmerizing. You should look at her earlier music when she was 7, winner of Norway's Got Talent.

One of the most unique humans to perform is quite a while!! when I first listened I was like Meh ok not Michael., then I listened again and something switched and wow is this version cool! Ladies, Where have you been since the last time you both reacted to Angelina? She is in LA California working on her First major album for Republic Records, and also going to High School. Angelina has drop some Cover Video's to keep in touch with her Fans , "Billie Jean", and The Beatles "Yesterday" are just the latest video's released. She has also re-released "7th Heaven" which is a fun video that you both will enjoy! I personally can't wait for her new Album and what ever Angelina career takes her.
