Seeing the fireplace from last year in the video reminds me how much I really really like the new surround and mantle. The other one was nice but the new one really fits what you have going on with the bookshelves. A much warmer, cozy feel. Your trees are beautiful.

But... since then we're up to 4 trees now & there's no way we can wait that long. Plus I completely agree that they make us happy & we want to enjoy them. The ornaments on the first tree you did are so beautiful! But the second tree is more how I decorate our tree. My husband‘s grandma crocheted little covers for a set of 24 satin balls over 30 years ago. They still look the same as they did when she gave them to us, and they are the 1st to go on my tree and my favorite. I was really happy to see that little trolley car because I have one just like it. LOL
I don't like the prelit trees because if the lights go out, gotta buy a new tree. It's a lot less expensive to replace lights vs replacing a tree. The trees have gotten so expensive.
Easy to cut off the failed strings of lights without damaging the tree. Then I just add regular string lights. Trees with LED lights are guaranteed to last a long time.😊

Do you use the same color of ribbon for all your ornaments or do you change in color?
I changed up the colors because I didn’t have enough of one color. They all coordinate so I think it looks nice.

We have had faux pre-lit years and have never had issues with lights?
Unfortunately, everything looks new and commercial instead of curated.
Blinking lights are annoying to me.
