Why don't you play what Dzifah Gomashie said. The president was being sarcastic because of what your sister said whiles the President was out of the country. Your pick and choose reportage is nauseating and insulting. You didn't even know where the president was at that time. You are annoying if you don't know.
This piece by Ben Akakpo is absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary for him to waste studio time parsing the words of the president. The president went to show empathy to Ghanaians in the opposition NDC stronghold. If he spends a few minutes talking about that, so what? Instead of focusing on what the president actually does to alleviate the suffering of the people impacted by the flooding, Ben decides to dissect the president’s words. Would Ben have preferred for the president to say nice words and done nothing to help? Ghana journalists have these tendencies to dwell on infantile gossips, innuendos, and unproductive discussions while the country is suffering from the nefarious actions of ordinary Ghanaians. Ben Akakpo is always blaming leadership during his infamous “blunt thoughts” but I dare say 95% of corruption in Ghana is committed by non-politicians. Just walk into any ministry, port, or agency and you would be appalled by the level of bribery and corruption. Ghanaians need to look deep into themselves and stop pulling the country down and stop always blaming leadership and politicians.
I agree with you that today Ben called it incorrectly. The president initially showed empathy and wanted to let the audience know he is president to all irrespective. At some point, he tried to inject some rhetorical humour which given the circumstances was probably not the right thing to do but in the main, I thought he got the mood correct. The problem is that this president has not been a transformational leader and with Ghanaians experiencing hardship like never before, whatever this president says will no longer jive with the people. Shame as he had so much goodwill when he took office...
Allow Ben to speak the truth. Do not allow your political affiliation overshadow your conscience 🥹. The fact that the president spelled rubbish to innocent citizens going through a disaster of this magnitude should not be allowed. This is a disgrace. God bless you Benjamin 🥰👍
@@akeliwirajosephalooboba2923 …political affiliation? I don’t even live in Ghana. Ben is too negative. You would think there’s nothing positive being done by the president. It’s important to not dwell on words but on deeds.
Mr Akakpo, you are forgetting something these so-called leaders don't have a conscience like you do. That's the difference between you and them, unfortunately. Our system actually insulates them from all the vagaries of life!!
Well done beloved Benjamen, stay blessed.
Keep well and keep up the good work my dear brother
Benjamin, our politicians don't have conscience and their moral fibre is broken.
Its disgusting to see Dr Archibold Letsa standing next to him translating the derogatory speech to his own people.
They're the new colonial masters
and you'll see or hear the Vulture headed clapping and cheering to Nana Addo's nonsense he's saying.
You couldn't even explain 200 penalty units but you here speaking blunt thoughts!you ain't even ashamed
Look at him
SMH
